I WANT MY MOJO BACK!

Well, good for you Sam! I'm still hoping.....
-
Deb - good for you!
I considered myself a "virgin" after going TWO YEARS without sex (with anyone other than myself) before meeting current BF. Between the sexless marriage followed immediately by BC tx, I was one horny toad!
Honestly, I wasn't thinking about intimacy when BF and I had our second date. (does that make me a ho?) We barely made it into my apt before we started ripping off each other's clothes. (does that make me a super ho? )
Had an ooph in Nov and I was afraid I'd dry up and the newly found great sex life would be over, but it's NOT! It might take me a little longer to "get there" but the sex is still awesome.
Hope everyone finds some good mojo over the weekend...however you can get it! -

Not a ho, just ho-rny. -

Just passing along information. FWIW
Me? My W went through the BC RX / TX 10 years ago.
Just trying to help. I wish you all the best. -
hey girls...now, I've never claimed to be the mojo expert... but having age on my side, and loving my boobs plus a great guy, really helps.
Just when I thought things couldn't be better, we stumbled upon this tape (i'm talking old school VHS) and it's called the Secrets of the Sexual Surrogate the website is www.amore.com
all I have to say is WOW....the woman is teaching this guy everything from kissing to a million positions for things even I never thought of.... she is an amazing coach- and if everyone could have this woman in their bedroom for 30 minutes i'm telling you, we'd all be posting a lot more. Now, granted, we come with all these added issues that other women don't have to factor in... but I gotta tell you, I think this video would be worth checking out solo or with your partner. -
OMG.....I KNEW that dark chocolate was good for me......

Bump for a newbie. -
OMG what kinda discussion board did i come into. I never new how much women loved it!
-
OH, DEAR KURT...
who do YOU think picks up "the girl" when they are in a bar? It surely IS NOT the guy, THAT'S for sure!!!! ;-) Yes, women enjoy sex just as much as men, which is why we're REALLY upset that so many of us can't DO IT anymore because of chemopause! AAARRGGGHH!!!
I'm VERY GLAD to see a Gent on this site, wish SPOUSES would come on, to actually HEAR/READ what we're talking about, and get SOME HINTS! LOLOL! ahhh, sad, but true, yes?
Kurt, I'm glad you found this discussion, and please, if YOU have any idea's, chime in! And, if you have any concerns, such as we do, please feel free to discuss them -- if you are being robbed of one of life's greatest pleasures, you probably want YOUR MOJO BACK, too! If so, talk to your docs, find out what they can give as advice to a man. Since I "assume" you do not have the problems of estrogen and progesteron, they may be able to actually help you with sometype of hormone replacement to help with any libido issues....IF you hae them, that is, not saying you do! :-) If you've reaad this ENTIRE discussion and the THOUSANDS of posts on it, GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
And, hey, maybe you know a couple who is going thru this with the WOMAN having BC, and can suggest they take a look here, to know they are NOT ALONE!!!!
Good to see you again, though we met only once in BC.ORG CHAT a number of months ago, it's ALWAYS nice to see folks checking out whta is available on this site! :-)
WITH HUGS & PEACE,
BLESSED BE, Connier / connierc -
I must really be suffering from Chemobrain. I do not remember speaking with you connierc in the chat room. I did pop into this room because I also am suffering from lack of mojo. I went to my urologist and he tested me for testosterone. My testosterone level was fine. I guess I just have chemopause lololo.
I think you are right that spouses of BC women should read this site. They should understand the suffering a person goes through when they cannot either be satisfied or satify. Well at least we can dream. Damn did i have dreams last night. -
Ladies,
The Sahara must be pretty big 'cause it's here in Philadelphia too! Anyway, concerning the testosterone thing....about 6-7 years ago (pre cancer) my libido started to wane, so I went to my gyno and she did a blood test. Sure enough my testoterone levels were low (yes girls, we've got it too!). Anyway, she put me on a very low dose of testosterone, every other day. Here are my side effects: My face started breaking out...we are talking teenage face here (I was in my forties for goodness sake), also,I noticed a return of my pregnancy mask. You know that darkening of your upper lip thing? I don't think my voice got deeper, or my arms got hairer...the pimples were bad enough! The testosterone seemed to do the trick in the bedroom department, but I quit taking it and everything seemed to clear up pretty fast. At this point my husband and I have thought about buying stock in KY, we use so much of the stuff!! It's not particulary sexy, but it is slippery!! Tip: keep a towel handy! -
Personally, I like Wet Light. For me it's the most natural and it's not all that messy. There is a Wet and a Wet Light. Some grocery stores carry it but most 'adult' stores do, too. Fortunately, I rarely need it!

Bumping this up for the chemo chicas

well girls i haven't ever lost my mojo.......but i could use some hints in the lube department for those "prolonged sessions".........i do great at first but after awhile i get rather "irritated".........tried ky, ky warming "yikes", and replens........right now we're doing the "drown everything in baby oil" method which is ok, but not fabulous. any suggestions?
my onc is willing to give me the estring but i'm hesitant.
thanks girls! -
My fav is astroglide. You can get it at any drug store. I also like Eros Bodyglide. It is a silicone-based lube from Germany. You can buy it online. It lasts forever! Since it has silicone, you have to use soap and water to wash up and you can not use it with latex products (I think anyway). I would thing it would be better for you "insides" than the baby oil. Give it a try....

Shel, Wet or Wet Light. The bottle lists: www.wetinternational.com. (made in the good 'ole US of A)I swear it's the best I've ever tried. Good luck! And thanks for the info!
-
no.......THANK YOU! lol!
-
No, the OTHER info, not the stuff about your intimate life!
-
gotcha.........lmao..........but really "thank you" i'll be ordering some of that tomorrow!
-
OK, y'all....NOW I've heard it all
http://www.ibuzzusa.com/
Can you imagine downloading the song Wipeout? -
Huh. I guess I need to get me one of them.....
-
LOL! My hubby bought a remote control one a few years ago that he had WAY too much fun with at a local diner. Boy, those were the days! I may have to dig that out and find some batteries....***evil grin***
Deb C. -
Hi girls...just a bump (and grind) for someone in need...Mena...xo
-
Just a Bump... lots of Bumping and Grinding...
Been staying away from the board for a while... had to get away from the Big C stuff.
I think I am going through a mid-life crisis!
I now have a boy toy 24, a FB 39 and my regular (doesn't do much for me) boyfriend 48.
I must say, the 24 year old is full of enthusiasm...
The 39 year old has some great technique and is LOADS of fun! (since this *IS* the MOJO thread... I never knew I could squirt!!!!!)
The 48 year old is a dud... don't know why I keep him... but I do!
yeah, I found the BT and the FB on a "naughty" web site!
-
Claiire - good for you! Sounds like you've been busy. And congrats on your new found "talent". I recently discovered my talent in that area too. Better late than never I guess!
Donna -
Claiire...What's the difference between a BT and a FB? Just wanna know what it is I've got..? I thought he was a FB, but maybe he's a BT (he's 32)?
Also, maybe your old guy will come around. I've had a G.I.S. ('Guy I See') for a year and recently he's become alarmingly more talented. Maybe its because we keep breaking up and hooking back up..? He's 41 and I consider him my 'old guy' -
The BT (boy toy) is young not very experienced and very eager. More often than not, can go and go and go over and over and over...
The FB (f*ck buddy) knows that what there is is sex... no movies, no dinners etc... just sex! No commitment, just 2 horny people satisfying eachother's needs. These can eventually turn into a F w/Benefits.
A friend w/benefits is sex, dinner, movies but no commitment that comes with a GIS or a BF.
Hope that helps. I know there is a better definition out there, I'll see if I can find it.
If you are looking for someone that fits any of the above criteria... try adultfriendfinder.com
Beware... it is NO e-harmony!
-
Excellent clarification, Claiire! I guess he's a FB. But I had a BT who became a F w/Benefits, but then he realized he is bisexual and that, for some reason, turned me off, so now we're.....Friends! How's that for covering the gamut?
-
Claire, OMFG!!! I HAVE to confess.....
Janis L
Oh and, BTW, thank you..... -
Marin, I've found that men I've met who define themselves as "bi" are not really "bi" if you know what I mean. A good friend is invaluable, though, so if that's what your relationship is now then so be it.
