Not sure I understand what to do to get on your list. I have been a member for over the time frame of your criteria but have not posted any posts. I have not posted anything because everytime I try to find others with Stage IV breast cancer patients that have been on herceptin for more than the standard 1 year I don't find any or the posts are so old I get scared everyone is dead. This time I found this list so would like to join.
-
Jan - You just need to start a thread on the Stage IV forum - something like "How long has everyone been on Herceptin?" I'm not Her2+ so can't help you out, but I'm sure you'll get lots of replies. Good luck. This thread is for those of us who want others to be able to access our personal contact info.
-
Oops - I didn't make myself very clear. At the top of the page, it will say Start a New Topic in a red box. Click on that to ask your question.
-
I don't understand the instructions - my poor feeble chemo brain. Do I post here? I clicked the link and it requires a name and password.
-
Hey, is this item still active? If not can we at least have a notification tree? Reesie works hard to keep contacts. But sometimes someone goes missing and we don't know anything. Id say the link is not working now. Ann, if you feel well enough, you have the skills to set one up or is there another way?
-
This is still alive. Never been dead actually. Maybe you thought it wasn't working because you could not get on the list. But as I posted in my original post, that's exactly how it works. No one can get on the list unless they have been granted access even if they have the link. It's a password protected site and you need to PM me for access if you want it.
-
Thanks Timtam, I am dense.
-
Bumped per K lo's request.
-
Bumping so current members will see this thread and get into the address book (once the instructions in the original post have been followed) lisa
-
Thanks Lisa, Don't think I'm eligible yet. Got enough posts but not here long enough (or am I reading it wrong?)

Since it is November now, maybe they will let you in. Worth a try. :-)
-
Alesta39 - you meet the criteria posted above:
2. a member of these discussion boards on BCO of 2 months+ and have made 40+ posts
You hav 125 posts and been a member 3+ months as of this thread, so you if email Timtam you will probably get access granted :>

Making it a sicky note -- again!

This is a great idea! I belong to an All Breast Cancer Dragon Boat Team and the women are
the best support you could ask for. At this time 3 of us are in recurrance and email each other often. I have not been that active on this site, but will try to be here more often! The support and helpfu information is wonderful!

Hi Fuji,
At least I am assuming this is going to Fuji. I did put myself into the Central Address Book quite a long time ago. At least 2 or 3 years ago, I believe. I have kept both the sign in phrase as well as the password, and can get into where my entry is just fine. However, at the time I did the entry I also put a friend in as my contact person here on the board. Since that time, my friend has passed away so today I was trying to go in and remove her name and info. But I cannot seem to do it. Would you kindly PM me about how I go about taking her info out so I can do it? Sorry for the inconvenience. I am a a real computer whiz as you can see. :-) -
how do you add your name to this list?
-
send a pm to nowhere girl and she will tell you how to get in to change your contact person
-
thanks
-
Is Chickadee in the address book? She is in the hospital with pneumonia right now.
-
yes! Chick is in the address book. If you don't have access to it and would like to send a card, please pm me for her address or if anyone has a better idea of how to handle it, let me know.

Just a reminder of how helpful the Central Address Book can be, and ongoing thanks to nowheregirl for founding and maintaining it. If you want to be in the address book (it's open to all active and established members; not only Stage IV), please read the instructions in the first post for more about how it works.
This thread would normally be pinned near the top of the Stage IV forum, and the tech team will be working on getting it and other pinned threads back to the top as soon as possible.

Ebru,
You are a mind reader! I was just going to bump this and remind everyone, what a good thing it is to be listed in the CAB. We love our sisters on BCO and it leaves a sinking, awful feeling in the pit of our stomachs when someone just stops posting. Good or bad, we want to know how you're doing! Get yourself listed today!

Caryn, the CAB shouldn't get lost, yep! Thought of the same thing as sisters ! maybe dear MODS can help this one back on the first page..
Hugs all
