I just finished reading The Keeper of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen, who is a Danish writer. It was really, really good. A burnt out homicide detective is given a job in the cold case department, just to keep in out of the way. He and an unlikely assistant stumble upon the case of a beautiful, young politician who vanished five years earlier and is presumed dead. But she isn't (yet).....she is being held captive by a murderous psychopath. I highly recommend it for a good, suspenseful read (with a few moments of humor just for good measure). It is the first book in Olsen's Department Q series ( I liked it so much that I just downloaded the second book).

The next person feels sick because she just finished cleaning out a freezer that must have died a few days ago (ie me) and OMG! SO GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

true  and here's a long and convoluted story.

So we start off in Tennessee, first overnight stop Augusta, Georgia -,the next morning woke up and was lazing in bed, must have drifted off to sleep and awoke with banging on the door, well I jumped out if bed but the bed was high and I fell over, my toes hit the ground first and down I went, lots of cursing, you get the picture... So off we drive I get some ice and put it on my feet, well next stop is Charleston. We check into the hotel by this time my toes are on fire but hey they all decide to go out and sightsee and leave me, well after a couple if hours I need a cup if tea so off I go by myself looking for a Starbucks and of course by this time I'm crying because everyone had left me I don't know where I am, anyways long story short I hobbled for days and was the co driver .... A week later when I got home I went to the doctor and yup I'd broken 3 toes, I tell you I called every one of those b#*^^%s and told them off cause they didn't believe me that I was in agonizing pain!!!!!

Not yet but an Alaskan cruise is on my bucket list.

The next person suffers from the occasional migraine and has been up til 4 a.m. and the alarm will be going off at 6 for work

Not exactly - but I was up until 4AM due to a cat that returned from the vet last evening and wanted to keep an eye on him.  Slept two hours until 6AM.
