Hey Mags- Good to hear from you. Thanks for asking about me. I'm doing as well as I could have hoped at this point. It is unnerving living scan to scan and waiting for the proverbial "other shoe" to drop. However, I am feeling really good, for the most part. I have recovered well from the hip replacement and am even working out with a trainer twice a week. My systemic treatment is very manageable. I feel rundown for about two days each cycle but am very functional. WAY better than the initial chemo. Bonus is that I have kept my hair! My most recent scan showed only the one lymph node still lighting but FINALLY responding to treatment (uptake went down significantly), and my tumor markers are very low and well within the normal range. The hip was taken care of by the combination of RADS and the hip replacement. I went for several opinions regarding the lymph node and possible surgical removal, but it was very involved (complete node dissection with 6 weeks of RADS after and no known benefit) so I have opted to go with the "wait and see" my team and one other has recommended. Meanwhile, I'm living a very "normal" life juggling a little work with being primarily a stay-at-home mom. I'm traveling, being a soccer mom, and generally loving all other aspects of my life. I pray every day that I can continued to be this blessed and be around for my kids for a long time. Miss you ladies but glad so many of you are doing so well! I'm going to try to post a couple of recent pics.

Here is my son. He was 7 weeks when I was first diagnosed, and he will be 3 in a few months.

Hi,hope all the Sept gals are doing good!
Went to the cardiologist,he said why are you here? Your heart is strong, natural part of aging-the impaired dystolic function. Come back in a year!
Went back to pulmonoligist, breathing function test better/great. Come back in 6 months.
Of course,I need to lose weight, start exercising (I've gained 12 lb this winter) bah humbug!!! Plus quit smoking-having problems there:((. I know I just need to get the right mindset and just do it! Hoping with spring here,I'll be motivated to do all three.
Anyway,all good here otherwise!

Hi everyone. I have not posted in a while but read some of the previous posts. I am so glad that everyone who has checked in is doing well!
CJRT- I am so happy that you treatments are working for you and not making you too under the weather. It is great that you are able to have so many good days! It is amazing how grateful you can be for doing the simplest of things like watching your child play soccer (or in my case watching my kids take swimming lessons).
I am doing well and hope to continue to do so for as long as possible (Which I guess we all are aiming for right!). Take care everyone.

Hi everyone! How are you doing? Just had my 6 month ck. 2 months shy of being 3 years out and my MO says "I am cured" All the blood work came back great. 3 years is magical for TN. Risk of recurrence has gone way down now. So Happy. Wishing all the best to you all. You were such a big part of getting me to today and beyond!

hello you beautiful Sept ladies!!!!!
I pray everyone is well and enjoying their summer. Here it has been rain, rain, storms and tornadoes , now it's the heat wave with humidity!
I'm finding I don't tolerate the heat well, when I'm outside working, I am sweating so bad, my hair is soaked, heart rate up, breathing hard. But I get it done-i count it as my cardio:))
I have lost the 14lbs I gained last year, lots more to go but I'll keep going?
CJRT, if you are still around, I remember your husband is a trainer and he recommended strength training. Do you think he could tell me how to get started, working at home. I have 3lb and 8 lb weights. Any particular exercises or regimen that he would recommend for soon to 62 woman who needs to get back in shape, needs muscles built back up, core!
Well, overall I have been well, a couple more biopsy done BC breast-benign! Radiation can do a number on you. Watching another area thickening, texture change- looks like orange peel-probably from rads unless it spreads. I have neurophy in my left heel from chemo that's a pain. Get tired easy, bones hurt etc Hoping if I get back in shape some of that will lessen!
I have been keeping busy doing my yard and garden work, babysitting my grandkids - the loves of my life😍😍😍
Hope to hear back from some of you lovely ladies, in my thoughts and prayers

Belle- I'm sorry! I haven't checked this page in forever, though I think about all of you ladies often. I'll check with my hubby about your question and will forward you some info. I've also worked with my own trainer (my 66-year-old mom has joined me) that has tweaked things because of my surgeries/medical concerns, and I'd be glad to share my standard workout, as well. I'll message you directly in the next few days. Hugs!
