Reusable Velcro strips for bangs?

I'd like to buy some bangs that I can temporarily attach to different scarves with Velcro and I don't want to leave any adhesive residue on the fabric  Searching with Google, I've found reusable Velcro strips for attaching pictures to walls but none for attaching velcro to fabric.

Is it okay to use the ones for attaching pictutes or is there a brand of reusable velcro tape designed for fabric?

The TLC catalog gives you three extra strips if you buy their bangs but the woman I spoke to on the phone said you can't buy additional strips separately.

hi ellentk, I did the same thing as I always have had bangs and it helped me feel like my old self. The bangs I purchased had the Velcro and I was surprised to find that it was enough to hold onto my scarfs, no "opposite" Velcro needed. Give it a try!

Thanks. I'll give the ones from the TLC catalogue a try. I can always return them if it doesn't work out.

I did costuming for awhile and used vecro in many different sizes and types.  Go to a fabric shop, in particular one that sells home decor fabrics. You will find prepackaged velro and verlcro by the yard. The light weight, 1/2" or even 3/8"  should be sufficient. athe adhexive backed has much heavier adhesive on the wide velcro, I held up a twentu five ' X 20" canvas show curtain once with the heavy velcro. You don't need anything like that.  The sew on of course would leave needle marks.

    Good luck.

Thanks, Barb. I'm so uncrafty I never would've thought of a fabric shop.
