Just remembered I am going to the freezer now for YOUR cupcake. Should be defrosted by this afternoon.
Praise the LORD.

I thank God for all His miracles, cures, and advances in modern medicine. Results from my latest CT and MRI: The good news is that the spot on my rib is probably from radiation - thank God for that. The bad news is that there is over 200% new cancer in my liver. The old tumor grew @8%. Then there is another new big lesion with 2 small satellite lesions. I put a call into my oncologist to see what the next plan of action is. I'll keep you posted. I pray my medical team hasn't given up on me yet. My blood work is still good. I still feel good and am looking forward to a snowboarding trip the end of this month. I thank God for that also. I also thank God for listening to our prayers. He could've let me die months ago when the state of my soul was not as good. He's used this trial to bring me and my family back to Him and His Church. Praise the Lord.
-
Dear Penny, you can rely on God never giving up on you. As long as you are physically well enough to tolerate treatment oncologists will do all in their power to hold the cancer back. I hope you will have a wonderful holiday. Even when we are well isn't it is so important to have things to look forward to? Even more important when you are not well. I think of you every night when I go to bed and pray especially at that time. Love and prayers, Susanna
-
My prayers are going to u--the Drs. will treat u and with all God has let them learn they won't give up u'll see.
-
Thanks to all for your prayers and words. My oncologist called me yesterday. We discussed sir-spheres, chemoembolization, and trying to get insurance approval (again) for perjeta. She also managed to get the drug company from the trial I was in a year ago to "unblind" me. Turns out I was on a placebo and not the parp inhibitor veliparib. So she's also looking into getting me compassionate use. She said to give her a few days to discuss options with medical team. She's not worried since my vitals still look good - praise God for that! So hopefully we'll have a new plan by next week. Still looking forward to a snowboarding trip with friends and family the end of this month. They'll be @25 of us!
As always, prayers for all,
Penny -
Good news that she is pleased with your vitals and moving forward with a new plan for your healthcare. Have a wonderful holiday - with such a pack you will not be bored. XXX

-
May God bless you and your family ALWAYS.
-
Just got a call from NP - starting perjeta, navelbine, and perception this Wednesday. Praying, praying, praying...
:-) Penny
-
God bless you and your health care team. Good luck on Wednesday. xx
-
Prayers are going to u, u'r getting some good stuff, I hope it's kind to you too.
-
More bloodwork and chemo today. I thank The Lord for giving me
the strength for another day. I pray The Good Lord blesses my white
blood cell count so I can receive the chemo (navelbine). I pray He
blesses the chemo so it does His work in me. I pray He blesses the
side effects so that they are manageable. All for the Praise and
Glory of His Name. In Jesus' Mighty Name I pray. Amen. -
Amen to that. May God bless you always Penny. Best wishes with your treatment. Susanna
-
Penny praying for all of the best for you.

Good morning. How is everyone? A novena to St. Joseph, Husband of Mary starts today! Today let's pray for all husbands -- that they may be great leaders and faithful protectors of their families as St. Joseph was for his. Let's also remember all engaged couples in our prayers today as well as for those who are discerning marriage.
In addition to these intentions, you can pray for any special intention you have.
St. Joseph Novena Prayers - Day 1
Saint Joseph, you are the faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you. You know that I have confidence in you and that, after Jesus and Mary, I come to you as an example for holiness, for you are especially close with God. Therefore, I humbly commend myself, with all who are dear to me and all that belong to me, to your intercession. I beg of you, by your love for Jesus and Mary, not to abandon me during life and to assist me at the hour of my death.
Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, pray for me to have a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may to die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace I now implore:
(Mention your intention)
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers on my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God.
St. Joseph Most Just, Pray for us!
Amen.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the
beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
Have a Blessed Day,
Penny
-
Thank u Penny. And as we know March 19th is St, Joseph's Day.
-
It's already the second day of the St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Novena.
Today let's pray in a special way for all the fathers that we know. It is so important that fathers follow the example of St. Joseph. Let's pray that they will grow in holiness and grace. Let's pray that they will become more and more like St. Joseph the husband of Mary and foster father of our Redeemer.
Let's also remember to pray for couples struggling with infertility, widows & widowers, and all single people who are looking for a spouse.
As a reminder, in addition to this intention, you can pray for any special intention you have.
Day 2 - Saint Joseph Novena
