Excessive mentral bleeding - Taxotere

Just started chemo (Taxotere, Perjeta, & Herceptin) two weeks ago, at the time I was on my period.  Now nearly two weeks later I am experiencing excessive heavy bleeding.  It was spotty that last few day and then HOLY COW!  Bled through a tampon & pad once last night & twice this morning already.  

ONCO doesn't open til 8:30 and I plan to call & talk to the nurse but until than I'm wondering how concerned I should be.

    Call your onco.  Doesn't matter what time it is.  There should be one on call and available 24/7.  Keep us posted.

    Onco doesn't seem to think it's a big deal.  Said it shouldn't last more than 24 hours.  Good thing I'm scheduled for bloodwork tomorrow so I'll be there and can talk to some one face-to-face if it's still happening.

    ...just don't feel it's safe to be losing this much blood.  Perhaps it's different for mentral bleeding.  ???
