The Mods

I did have the testing after I had a late (26 years after diagnosis) metastases to my liver.  The test results recommended a course of therapy and I have followed it to the letter.  All I can say is that I went from 231 liver lesions (cancers) to zero.  I am currently in remission.  My liver is beat up and MRI will always be abnormal, but my PET scans have been clean X 2 and my markers are normal for the first time in 5 years.  This is, of course, anecdotal evidence (meaning one individual's testimonial), but I still feel compelled to share.  BTW, insurance balked at paying, but we argued that this was a diagnostic test and they paid after letters and arguing back and forth.  Caris really helped with this process.
