Sierra, I noticed this was your second post about sinus issues. Though I don't have any info about turmeric or garlic helping with sinus troubles, I was wondering if you've tried a neti-pot? I've had sinus issues and allergies for years and I swear by it. Just a couple of precautions if you do decide to try. DO NOT use tap water....not even filtered water that's been boiled. Use only sterilized water from a sterilized bottle. I've heard way too many horror stories about infections when special care is not taken. Also, when buying the salts, you get what you pay for. Buy good quality, sterilized packs. Just thought I'd bring it up because sinus problems suck and it just might work for you.

yes, I use Thorne Meriva-Curcumin, 4 capsules/day, as directed by my integrative onc for BC prevention. It's known for its anti-inflammatory qualities. No sinus issues for me, so can't comment on that.

I take three forms of tumeric. The one I have taken the longest is Tumeric Force by New Chapter - one per day. As I am writing this, I am drinking a cup of boiled water with 2 t. of powdered organically grown tumeric added to it. I buy it in a health food store's spice aisle. This has been very hard to get used to. I have got to add something to it as it is tough to get down. I read somewhere about this means of assimilating it. Be careful as it will stain your countertops, clothing and even your lip and fingers. I also take a Curcumin-Biotin capsule. Some say tumeric is one of the most important herbs for breast cancer.

I'm taking Turmeric from Costco - it's hard to figure out what to take or what brand to buy when you start reading ads - so I was in Costco, looked down the aisle and they had one brand.
Hope it's a good one!

I found some at Costco and started taking it this week. It is interesting that I just noticed today that my chronic sinus pain seems to be lessened today. Wow.
Just curious as to the difference between Tumeric and Turmeric?

Turmeric seems to be a misspelling.

Here is the product. It is definitely spelled Turmeric. I wonder if there is any difference?
