    I clicked on the inner image skin care site right above Estepps last post and it worked. Good tips, thanks for bumping it up Estepps! I am about to head to my 1 week post op visit and will see what he recommends...it is good to already have seen the video!

    I changed the website on the original post....apparently they had changed it since I first posted the video May 2009.  It works now.....

    Hi, I guess the link has changed again since it was updated on Sept 13, 2012.  I tried all the links on this post can't find the video :(     I googled and had no luck either.  If anyone can find it and repost, I would soooo appreciated it.  thx!!

    Hi Linda54, thanks for finding this other website!!!  Is this the same as the original?

    I certainly do worry about CC.  I'm 7 weeks post op from my exchange surgery and the implant is a bit firm/tight, a bit high and I'm trying to massage but have no idea if I'm doing it right or not.  My PS really didn't/doesn't give much information either and is very dismissive, so I am so thankful for this forum and this post!

    maisy, It is not the same video but pretty much the same techniques.  Our doctors do their surgeries then leave us out there to find out info on our own....

    I have the silicone "Naturele" implants as well. I am 12 weeks out from my surgery and have both left and right. Mine were placed at the time of my cancer surgery. On the RT, (cancer side) The implant is falling naturally and looks and feels very "real". On the left, it has failed to fall at all and is tight and you can feel "edges". I went to my PS today and he says it is sometimes normal for the one side to respond at a faster rate than the other and it could be months before I see the final result. He did recommend massage as my left breast had a lumpectomy in 1999 (benign), but had a lot of scar tissue associated with it.I also experienced some early rejection of the Alladerm sling for the implant that gave me a hardening of the skin and "pink breast"that I had treated successfully with Prednisone.

    I am having "revision" surgery to remove the fatty flap from under my arms, on the side, known to some of us as "side boob", in July and he said he can address any issues I still have with scar tissue on that left side when we do that surgery. He sounded very confident. Lets hope he is as good as he sounds.

    In the meantime I will do a massage he recommend, which is holding the entire breast and moving it in the pocket in a circular fashion as well as gentle regular massage of the entire breast. He suggested using a warm shower or bath to make it less tight or painful. It should feel like stretching, not painful. Hott tubs help too :)

    I GUESS I DONT GET THE " BUMPING" COMMENTS.. WHAT DO THEY MEAN.?. WHEN I OPEN THE MASSAGE LINK  I GET SOME GOOD PICTURES FROM A CALIFORNIA PLASTIC SURGERY SITE BUT NO VIDEO..MY PS DIDNT TELL ME TO MASSAGE MY TE'S ( HAVENT HAD SWAP YET)  BUT MY BREAST SURGEON SAID I SHOULD DO IT AND THAT HELPS.. AND WHILE AT WORK WHEN I CANT BE STROKING MYSELF IN PUBLIC I USE A LITTLE E-STEM UNIT CALLL A MASSAGE MOUSE- HELPS ALOT

    bump simply takes a thread that hasn't been posted on in a long to the recent activity threads. We do this especially on threads that might have great info for people, especially newbies to BCO, so they have the opportunity to benefit from the info. This one hadn't been posted on in a while, but you got to see it! 

    About the massage video, I know of one/some, will try to find links and post tomorrow as I'm exhausted tonight.

    I hope your doctor can fix your problems.  I had a previous lumpectomy before my bilateral but I had rads on that breast so had to have flap surgery. It's been 6 yrs since my surgery and so far so good.  I no longer do massaging on my rad side. I sleep on that side most of the time so it gets squashed and pressed on when I sleep. Back sleepers probably need to do more massaging.

    I am 1 month out double mastectomy with implants. I was surprised that it was not that bad. My PS put implants on top of my muscle which may be why. I will be having fat transfers in to months due to rippling and they need reshaping, if I were to do over I would have used my own fat as implants
