Everyone too busy mojo'n to update????
Just a bump -
OK, I'll bite.....
Claiire...Did you ALWAYS have that avatar?? If so, well my chemo brain can miss anything! I love it tho'
So, current boy toy is having tongue issues - has a sore or bump and thinks it might be cancer. As we all know of course it could be but since he's in the onc biz I told him I think he's hanging around with too many cancer patients. NEWAYZ, no oral activity of late, though the main event is totally happening. Been checking out the Hitachi Magic Wand here and there. Hey, maybe that's where everyone is....messin' with their Wands -
HI ORCHID,
RE: CYMBALTA. I am now on 60 mg per day, and while it does not seem to be helping me in the sex department, of all the OTHER antidepressants, THIS one seems to be working better. I'm ACTUALLY READING novels again, after TWO YEARS of not picking up a book! For me, that's like not breathing air! SO, something has changed, either just due to time passing, or the increase of CYMBALTA, not sure. Now, age 42, I have had a double mast, then failed recon, then ANOTHER double mast. to get rid of that. KICK RIGHT IN THE BUTT, throw me back to the sewer. This one is REALLY hard to pull out of, because at least BEFORE we tried stretching my skin, I at LEAST had a FLAT chest wall. Now, on the irradiated side, I have a CONCAVE wall. AND she left BUMPS of flesh inbetween where the breasts were, AGAINST my written instructions.
somewhere WAY up near the top of this thread, there is a post about THE POCKET ROCKET. If you look under my name (could be connierc or conniec), there arre links to places to buy them.
But BEWARE: DON'T open those sites near children!!!!!!! One is a XXX site (Adam & EVE - great products, also send free gifts with every order, though I've never actually ordered, but my friend has a HUGE toy bag!!! ;-) Some of the toys are pretty darn expensive, too!)
If you are havig problems with lubrication, as most of us do, there was an interesting thread about TESTOSTERONE CREAM to be applied topically on clitoral and outer vaginal walls.
Also, my Aunt, who is in her 60s, has BC 10+ years ago, and was "test subject" for some of the first TRAM FLAP recons, done in best hospital in CA. from what she told me, they've come a LONG WAY snce then with TRAM FLAPS!!!!
BUT... I chatted with her two weeks ago, asking her if she still gets depressed (yes), does she fell less like a woman (no), is she happy wit her recon (no, has to wear a girdle to support lower back, thin woman), does she have ANY LIBIDO (YES!).
WHY? Cause she found a sympathetic GYN who, between them, weighed the pros and cons of taking a LOW DOSE of ESTROGEN to have QUALITY OF LIFE!!!
I'm going to try to find an OBGYN (don't presently have one) who can help me with this situation. Perhaps others might want to do the same....
PEASE BE WELL, MY SISTERS AND BROTHERS,
CONNIEC -
Hey girls - I also posted this on the Humor thread with a WARNING about it containing sexual connotations. Thought the Mojo board might find it entertaining too...
'I WILL SURVIVE'
SING IT GIRLS!!!
(maybe in your head, if you are reading this at work!)
Ready... set... go...
At first I was afraid, I was petrified.
When you said you had 10 inches, Lord I almost died!
But I'd spent so many years just waiting for a man that long, That I grew strong, And I knew that I could take you on...
But there you are, another lie,
I was ready for a Big Mac and you've brought me a French Fry!
I should have known it was B***S**t, just a sad pathetic dream, Should have known no Anaconda was lurking in those jeans!
Go on now - go, walk out the door,
Don't you promise me 10 inches, then turn up with only 4! Weren't you a brat to think I wouldn't find you out!? Don't you know we're only joking when we say size doesn't count??!!
[Chorus]
I will survive! I will survive!
Cuz as long as I have batteries,
My sex life's gonna thrive!
I will always have good sex,
with a handful of latex!
I will survive! I will survive! Hey! Hey!
*
It took all my self control not to laugh out loud,
When I saw your little wiener standing tall and proud!
But to hell with your ego and to hell with all your needs,
Now I'm saving all my lovin' for a cordless multispeed!
[Chorus]
I will survive! I will survive!
Cuz as long as I have batteries,
My sex life's gonna thrive!
I will always have good sex,
With a handful of latex!
I will survive! I will survive! Hey! Hey!
Here's to good mojo girls, however we can get it!!
Donna -
omigod...I would only admit here that I did sing the whole thing out...it does go really well with the music...now the rest of you better 'fess up...come on...Mena...xo
-
Oh, Donna, that is great!!!
-
Oh, I just loved it and actually sang along in my head to the music!
Thanks, gotta share that one with my daughter! -
OMG Donna that is so great, now I can't get the stupid song out of my head... lol...thank you...been with hubby almost 30 yrs now,,,anything to spice up the "life"... MB
-
loved it!
-
Donna....I love the song AND love your hair! You really look like quite a babe!
As for length (no, not of hair ), it really doesn't matter much to me as long as its within the normal-to-slightly-range limits (say 6-7"). I've never had a too small, but have had a too large and I prefer 'medium+' myself. But who's measuring...... -
Love , Love , LOVE IT! I sang too
I also remembered, I need batteries Off to the store! -
Okay ladies...do you realize this is like the biggest thread on the whole site?? LMAO
This is only the second time I've been here, so NO I'm not lurking
Hugs,
Peggy -
LOL, I think the drinking one is longer.
And, at this point in reconstruction, I almost always choose drinking over sex. Sigh. -
The "sex" thread and the "drinking" thread are the threads with the most posts on the boards....what does that say about us?
I like both myself, and like the combo of sex and drinking!
Cheers and Good Mojo to all!
Donna -
Well, my mojo is on hold (in limbo?) so I'm hanging out on the drinking thread! I hope all the rest of you are getting some because I haven't been!
Janis L -
Perhaps the drinking thread is so long because no one's having sex over there...or, they could be having more than we are hahahahaha.
Nevertheless, on the 14th, Mojo celebrates our 2 year anniversary...not too shabby...after all, isn't all about endurance and, of course, "use it or lose it"? Remember that suggestion came from sex professionals Drs. Berman & Berman.
Oh, btw, I actually had a sleepover last Saturday night. Hmmm...it was a bit surreal. It's been well over a year since anyone's been in my bed. After all I've been thru with butthead, I'm still very guarded and not relaxed or trusting enough to let loose and feel real intimacy.
Any other divorcees have experiences like this?...Mena...xo -

LMAO!! Lurky-loo, here. Thought I'd take a peek in here and saw this. I've been putting off a ooph. because I'm scared to become a regular over here. But, it does look like you gals still have a good time anyway. -
Janis,I am trying to quit drinking and you dont wanna know how long its been since I have had any.Just a hint it would take more than one calander.I read once that if a woman dosent have sex for 7 years she becomes a virgin again.I am holding out for that.
Think I will go have a beer! -
Hmmm, well, I guess I shouldn't be all that upset over not getting 'any' since my have ZERO sex drive but I do miss going through the motions.....
-
I am with you.I do remember the day..
-
Robin...wow...I've gotta be pretty close to being a virgin again too. Wait...that's not really something to "wow" about...darn. Guess I'll have two beers.

Okay, Peggy needs to give us a visual! Cheers Robin! I ffugure that if I can't get laid I might as well get drunk. See ya on the other thread!
Janis L -
OK! I started early lol. Had my son at 17. Been married for 29 years 8-26 and there aint alot going on in this household. So maybe I'll become a virgin again lol, instead of a unwed, teenage mother. And the world go around and around and around
FMGWAC -
I just wanted to post a quick note .I had a bilateral mast 2 weeks ago today. this was after 6+ months of chemo. So, Im bald, fat, breastless and my hubby still tells me Im beautiful
We had our first date in a few weeks this past weekend and I want to tell you that sex is still wonderful even without my breasts. I was scared to death. You would think I was a virgin as hard as my heart was pounding, but it was wonderful. Of course, I had to bawl like a big old baby afterwards, but I still got lots of snuggles along with my Kleenex. For the first time in a long time I think things are going to be OK.
Hang in there ladies, there is hope and Im proof
Deb C. -
Yea for you Deb! Get some extra for those of us who aren't getting any, okay?
Janis L -
That's awesome Deb. I personally think it's better for some reason. I think because now he's more adventurous at trying to find somewhere else that excites me. Used to only focus on the chest area. Keep it up girly!!
-
OK, I think this post officially means I can ask you girls anything....here it goes...
Did anyone else notice the big O feels different without nipples? More focused maybe? Maybe missing the sensation from my breasts meant I focused more on other sensations....
I may have to do more research... *evil grin*
Deb C. -
Yep, more intense and more often. Still miss the nips, though.
-
haven't had am "O" but once in the last year, yeah I've had sex but only feel like saying hurry up and get this over with. I hate that feeling. I use to love sex. i want to again!
-
I am having sex like I've never had it before......it's been almost a year now that I've been with my 'younger man'......( hey Janis, my young man is the same age as yours...but I am older than you...gulp).I am on aromasin so theoretically it should all be a struggle.I was scared at first, but it all went fine.Yes, the more you use it, the better it gets.
I have to say that it is largely down to the creativity of the lover....this guy know exactly which buttons to push.I cannot believe how my sex drive has soared since being with him; I am horny all the time.It is amazing, especially as I was 'technically a virgin' til he came along!
Just telling you this to give you hope.....
Sam
