Oh no here we go again - advice needed

Hello, 

Sorry to intrude on this thread but I need your wisdom and help.

In the course of a day my RIGHT  breast (not the one that had been giving me problems) became red, hot, tender, swollen breast.

Now in all honestly, I had been massaging this breast a bit hard, so I am wondering whether hard massaging could make your breast red, hot, tender, swollen breast?

I had a breast reduction two months back, everything was fine, no cancer found, just fibrocystic breasts, adenosis, aprocine metaplasia etc.B9 conditions, inflammatory infiltate of skin. Plastic surgeon has put me on antibiotics for a week (and took blind sample of pink liquid which we suspect is a left over from a breast hemetoma/seronoma). Breast surgeon can't see me before 11th March BUT the radiologist wants to see me this Friday to give me a complete evaluation.

If this were IBC, how would this get worse? Did any of you have any liquid sampled from breast or heard anything about liquid and IBC?

Any advice would be great.

    Why are you thinking IBC?  You had reduction surgery, have been 'massaging' hard, have pink liquid left over from a hematoma/seroma and a red, hot, tender, swollen breast - that screams infection, not IBC.

    thanks Kicks. I think I had been so concerned about IBC, that now that I had come to peace with it, my right breast would punish me. I think I need to relax...

    I sincerely hope that you will put as much effort/time/money now into getting counseling and finding out why (and dealing with it) you are so obsessed with wanting to be IBC.

    Heavens forbid, i dont want that. 

    In short, I Spent months Trying to get a diagnosis and Only got an answer when i reduced my breasts. B9 and weird conditions.

    When you see your breasts do weird things you dont understand, you Sometimes make the mistake of Trying to diagnose yourself - big mistake - we re not doctors. 

    I will leave this thread now and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support.
