-

-
Sounds good!
-
we have to find the halfway point between us, and set up a date. maybe we could celebrate spring, when it (officially) comes..
-
That sounds like a great idea. I should be done with rads by then.

FK, you can come visit me anytime you want in CA. I have a guest bedroom and air conditioning.
Kathec, I've never met anyone from BCO either. A nice lady on another thread PM'd me and told me about a get together in San Diego at the end of the month. I'm thinking about going to that. Depends on how many people go - I don't too well in big crowds when I don't know anyone.
-
I had a pilot till you refused a Leer Jet.............now I have to ride a broom..........wonderful.........you pick my co-pilot.............you picked my broom..........LOL.......
-
bep, i was wondering: how did you know you had R.A.?
-
I was diagnosed when I was 18. RA factor has always been negative - the fluid drained from my knees tested positive. You think you may have RA?
-
i dont know, i just dont know why i am hurting all the time still. i was fine before treatment, and before arimidex, and tamoxifen. bone scan came back, no cancer, i havent read it yet, will try to get it tomorrow. its all more on the right side of my bod, xcept for both hips. am just so done with pain everyday, i am sure they think im crazy. the drs nurse said "degenerative changes" and wants me to go back on tam. one week left before i start, again. crap
-
I've always had pain from RA. During chemo it went into remission. After chemo, my bone pain has gotten worse. Especially on the left side - hip is really bad, along with ribs and upper back. My MO said it could be caused by the Herceptin. It seems to get better right before my next Herceptin infusion. Are you still taking Herceptin?
-
SDB I have had RA since 16 so know exactly where you are. Are you on an AI ? its hot an humid here today and my feet are killing me, hands are not good.
Kath its probably the AIs causing the pain so many seem to get it as an SE
Big hugs
-
Alyson, No I'm not on an AI. Herceptin infusions every 3 weeks until Aug. Also on RA meds - celebrex, plaquenil and azulfidine. Humidity is really bad for us. Luckily we don't get too much in CA - it's typically dry here.
-
Hi Slow
I cannot take plaquenil or azulfidine or most RA drugs so I survive on brufen 800, paracode, and tramadol. The RA was certainly made worse by five years of femara but actually has worsened since. There are days when movement is difficult.
-
Alyson,
Yes, I can definitely relate. It's a special kind of pain.
-
...i am sorry for yours and Alysons pain. mine, i cant tell if its nerves or bones or muscles, its a kind of just below the surface of my skin itchy pain.
-
.... and i had nodes biopsid 3 weeks ago, inflamed, but no cancer. i dont know
