Oh Ducky i forgot about your beautiful Granddaughters   because it was on the last page.

they look so much alike I thought was seeing double

Good for your granddaughter that she didn't stay with the father of the baby for baby's sake

The one who is pregnant is she the mother of the 2 little girls/

OK....I'm gonna move to the other room and start watching the Olympics without commercial

We didn't really get any snow just a dusting....it looks very clean outside

I'm so bored...cleaned some of my files..you think I'm running an office here.....

Joan...you were suppose to get more snow????????

Sheila...........yes the one who is expecting another (single birth little girl) in April, is the mother  of Identical twins......rare for identical twins, which she is, to have identical twins.......she is the mother of Grayson, my grandaughter with the disability....not sure if you remember her story..........

My grandaughter's look exactly alike.........I can't even tell the apart sometimes, and they are both gorgeous........even on their worst day.......LOL.........

Not sure if you were on when I told the ladies to go to UTube, and they could see Grayson singing along with Katie Perry.........you go to Utube search..........look for Grayson Charlton, and you will see her....

Ducky, for some reason, I thought you posted a long-ago photo and that it could be your daughters...I was not paying attention...So Shea is your GGD then.  In any event, you have a beautiful family.
How wonderful to have another baby coming so soon.  There will be joy.

Sheila, yes, the east end was to get a lot more snow...we had snow for about 7-8 hours straight.  We probably got 4-5" on top of all the old stuff.  I went out for a few minutes to start a car and decided I wasn't going anywhere.  I washed and hung up clothes all day and cooked breakfast and dinner.  We don't cook during the week because we get home so late.

Diane, the countdown has started!  Don't forget to take pix of everything.  When I had my grandaughters, I'd take pix & video of baths, naps, meals...and would txt to my DD when they were away.  Now I look back and love the memories.  It sounds like your DS is looking forward to having you enjoy the little ones.  Stay in the moment....no expectations means more serendipity!  I think your DD will be enjoying this as well.  Big hugs!

From the time of the 2nd mammogram and the Nurse Navigator said "do you have a breast surgeon".........I said "yea hold on I have him on speed dial"...........stupid question..........

So that day was Feb.15th......although they squabble about the 14th which was the first Mamm.......ether way it didn't change the outcome......right......

I go with date of diagnosis but wonder if I should be going with date of surgery?  End of radiation?  End of chemo....?  Anyway, it is about 3-3.5 years depending on how we are supposed to count.

It is hard to figure out when the anniversary date is.  I was dx in March of 07 but had my 2nd surg in May.  So I count my 2nd surgery so May 7th will be my 7th cancerversary.

Valentines Day I went to a 50's dance so I wore a lot of make-up, poka dotted suit jacket, red scarf, jeans rolled up and hand made saddle sneakers.  Used black magic marker and dotted white paint on the saddle part.

My girls arrive on Tuesday at noon.  I just received an email, without a greeting, with a full schedule and a statement that it is critical that I follow it.  I could choose to be pissed off at tone and orders, but instead I am pretty happy to know I will have alone time with babies.  DIL has six appts related to her eye which is why they are coming.

Sheila - have you heard of SAD/Seasonal Affective Disorder?  The conditions you have had over the past month are ideal for producing a real doldrums feeling!  If it is even a possibility, you are supposed to buy this special light that makes you happy :)

    ((((((Sheila))))))

Ducky - your granddaughters are gorgeous and that baby is adorable!

Diane - I hope you have a great time with the little ones and that DIL behaves.

Deb - those shoes are so cute - you look like you had a great time!

Surviving the snow here - a few more inches on the way for Tuesday - then 40's for a few days to melt some of this snow!  Our gutter are full of ice - I hope we don't end up with ice damming - should have paid more attention.

My big news is that DS was accepted to Central into the program he was interested in so he's excited.  I would have liked for him to go to the same school as DD, but she is having a tough time in her classes there - so I think he would have even more trouble.  It's too bad - we would have liked them to be together and for them both to have gone to our alma mater.  But our town's school system did not prepare them adequately and our alma mater has too many professors that suck... so a different school for DS it is.

DD was busy yesterday - first played in the pep band at the basketball game and then came back to campus and participated in an 18 hour dance-a-thon to raise money for the CT Children's Medical Center.  Thanks to some online friends (who she doesn't know in person - just people on Tumblr with similar interests), she was able to raise $100 more than what I donated.

Did you see the FB page a mother created for her son for his birthday?  He has an Asperger's-like condition (and maybe some other challenges also). She wanted to give him a birthday party, but he said no one would come.  So sad - and reminds me of my son - who hasn't had birthday parties for the same reason - his few friends aren't really good friends - so he doesn't bother trying to get together with any of them for his birthday.  This is why I am not pushing for him to commute to the branch campus of my alma mater the way DD did - I think he needs dorm life and needs to make new friends and establish closer relationships than he might otherwise have as a commuter.

The FB page his mother created has 1.9 million likes.  And she opened a post office box for people to send cards and they have received so many.  He is going to have quite a birthday.

Oh Deb - I'm sorry I forgot to say how damn cute you look!  Hope you had a blast.

Chris - so glad you are here.  Congratulations on your son's acceptance!  Perhaps away at college and in a dorm, he will have and/or take the chance to reinvent himself :)  Who can dance for 18 hours?????

Do you all think you'd rather have snow or rain and dark skies?  At our cabin, there will be 7 feet of new snow this week which is then heading your way....

Tomorrow, tomorrow.....they're only a day away!
