Oh no - so sorry to hear about Chevy. We'll have to double our thoughts & prayers tomorrow. Thanks for posting Sassy.

Huge thanks to you Sas. Oh how I do hate hearing this though. I had been wondering just what was up and missing Chevy a bunch. I so wish my good friend well and just hope and pray that she will do VERY well. She has a very humorous spirit and a whole lot of spunk so "hard to keep a good woman down" and I hope she is not down for long. All the hugs, and love and prayers and a big Universe full of angel help.
Blessings
Jackie

Jackie and Cami she sounds good. She's had excellent care so far. She is very positive about her surgeon. Lift her up with prayer or meditation. Whatever your belief.

Sorry to hear Chevy had an accident! Prayers for a quick recovery! Hugs and love being sent her way!
-
Chevy so sorry to hear about the hip..... Hopefully you'll agree to the Rehab hospital post surgery. Several friends of mine had total joint replacements and the rehabilitation process was critical for their recovery and subsequent good health.
-
Awww Chevy...was missing you! Cammi, your pic is perfect...when Chevy logs in, she will laugh and have to hang on to her sides. Chevy will figure out how to get online when she's feeling better.
Here's to a quick recovery!Carole, what a fabulous trip. That's all so interesting to me about the wildlife. It makes me wonder what Koalas should be eating....and yes, many of those species are endangered by the isolation of their habitat. I am glad you are back safely. I hope you've missed the worst of the winter.
Enjoy your homecoming.Jean, how's the snow? The rains came and washed some away, but plenty left and another few inches overnight are expected.
Stay warm!

Had about 15 inches in addition to the 10-12 that was already on the ground. Just shoveled enough to get off the back porch. Hubby is plowing the drive with his tractor/loader. We do need a new blower, We're both too old to shovel this stuff!
Happy Valentines Day. Jean

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone but especially to our injured friend Chevy.
Chevy, so sorry to hear about your accident.
Jackie or Cammi, maybe one of you could get her mailing address and PM it to us so we can send her a card.
Wishing everyone a safe, comfortable day. The sun is shining here and it's supposed to warm up to about 60. Would be perfect golf weather if the courses weren't so saturated. I'll be going to lunch with my mother, sister and niece to celebrate niece's birthday tomorrow.

Chevy, happy to hear that you were laughing with Cami this morning. Get well quickly thoughts are being sent to you!

11:am EST:Hello, update on Chevy. Surgery is still on at 2 pm. Sounds very good. She's thinking more in the direction of going to a rehab faciltity. It's a hairline fracture on the outer aspect of the hip, the ball joint is not affected. This is very good. It will make her recovery easier. The ball joint carries the weight.
She did get herself up and out of bed to use the bathroom by pushing a chair last night. The staff went into a tissy. They put a catheter in after that and explained about the call light.
Sends love to all. Told her she will reading for days. I'm supposed to call around 6 pm Colorado time. Okay someone tell me what time that is EST----8 pm? Sassy

It's 2 hours behind EST...

What is up with this crazy San Antonio weather? It was 28 Tuesday night and 85 today.
-
Sas, thanks for the Chevy updates. Amazing that she could call so soon after surgery.
-
Add my thanks along with Sally's. Your wonderful for keeping us so well advised Sas. One of the reasons I so appreciate the women on so many of these threads --- it is an interwoven web where little goes astray. It is a unique long distance bond -- a great life-line. I'm just grateful for all of you and especially for those who keep the rest of us in touch with the people that mean so much, so much of the time.
Blessings
