I've gotten lots of help on youtube, both with my knitting and sewing.

ok so a friend just sent me a mgs to tell me she ll like ti be my first client lol we were talking last night i was helping her with math problem for an exam we are having for a real estate course. Anyway i told her to chose a hat from these boy hats i made and once she tells me the blue dark or light i ll crochet shoes too. i ll charge her $5 which cover the yarn cost. No labor so here is the colors and here is the one she chose. i ll start on shoes, the baby is been born next week.
Boys are boring when creating but ll make boots lol i ll start on that now. -
Barbe, I can empathize. I have 4 grandSONS also. I think I'm going to have to pick a stranger's child and make something fluffy for her.
-
Wren, my DD and I were in the Gap with her son one time and I seriously asked her if I could cross-dress him. I had NO idea someone was standing close enough to hear me. My laughter was embarrassment, not kidding-ness!!! So now I have FOUR under FOUR!!
-
ha ha ha ha that is so funny
I never had kids and i was terrify that if i did it could be a boy lol cuz i just wanted a girl to dress her up all in pink ha ha ha and so many cute ideas for girls lol Oh well my bad lol

Adorable!

Enerva, you have inspired me with those beautiful crocheted creations. What a talent you have, and such a warm heart. Prayers for you and your family in Venezuela. So sad, tragic that health care has to take a back seat during political strife. I seldom post, but your story touched me so. The very best to you. I enjoy this site, but seldom post and do not know how to post pictures. I knit and crochet. Will be looking for tiny patterns for premies. andall newborns. OB departments love these things. Also, nice to donate to the hospital gift shops.
-
Gramamuses, I've knitted for hospital gift shops. They gave me the yarn and I took the finished product back to them. The paper had a story about a woman who was hospitalized long term. She started making hats for premies and spent the tedious days doing that.
-
Yes, Gamamus lets crochet lol i am making more little shoes now, i have to be honest i am in a rush cuz i am waiting on a book for a course i took and once it gets here i wont be able to crochet or knit lol i will have to study lol ll show you the shoes when done
let me know what are you going to make...
-
Enerva, you have to change your eye concentration during the day or you'll get eye strain!! So...when you have studied enough, pick of your crochet hook!! I just finished studying for my Securities license (Mutual Funds) and broke up my studying like that. Crafts and/or taking a nap!! I read that if you sleep right after studying something, your memory is better than if you just keep cramming stuff in. Must have worked as I got 78% on my "First Attempt". You are only allowed so many attempts a year at this exam and then you have to wait 9 months to try again. It is only a 60% to pass which I thought would be easy....I was testing at home at 90-95% but they say you lose 10-15 points during the stress of the exam. They were right!! Good luck!! (Don't know where I missed info on your family, but please know we care.)
-
Congratulation, i wanted to take that course too. ok so here are the new ones hummm what color should i used now fir the top border lol
-

Welcome, Enerva. You are a crochet-niac! Everything is so cute.
Barbe, I purchased a pattern for a "tile" picture for machine embroidery. Twelve 4" squares. Any suggestions for the backing fabric, stabilizer, anything?
-
Enerva I just love those! They are so pretty!
-
Thanks i am glad i can share my stuff with you so you can tell me the honest truth lol
I am going to do some for boys in brown lol will show you tmw.

)
-
Enerva, I wonder if the pattern could be extended to fit an adult........I would love a pair of them for winter!......lol.
-
Meese, not sure what you mean by tile embroidery...can you post a pic?
-
-
Happy V day!!! Well i guess it is not so difficult to make them for adults lol i will search patterns and see lol
-
Oh that is beautiful i have a sister who lives in Numea close to Australia and she is good at embroidery but by hand not using a machine hummm i will ask her.
Hey Chrissy if i go visit my sister i may also visit Australia lol i will let you know if that ever happens maybe we can grab a coffee lol
-
Meece is that the pattern or what you have done? Are you talking about the centre fish blocks?
It looks kind of tropical with the fabrics shown. I'd prefer to see more blue as it is opposite on the colour wheel to orange and would really make those fish pop! Also, I associate fish with water, not plants. You could us some varied coloured fabric for the borders and do multiple borders (like they did) perhaps moving out towards green rather than starting with green. Those koi panels are stunning though!!! You could assemble them and then just lay them down assembled on top of different fabrics and we can all give you our opinions!!!
-
Enerva I would love to catch up for a coffee if you go to Adelaide in South Australia.........lol.........Sydney is a two hour flight from me or a three day road trip!
-
ha ha ha ok i ll let you know if i ever go lol
