E....how wonderful your tucked in and waiting to start your meds. So glad your not wandering terminals.
Blue....sure nice seeing your name pop up too an the pictures are always something to appreciate. I love the horse with that beauty of a mane. Wonder how long that took someone.
Brr here. Wind chill has us below zero and will stay that way for awhile. Tiresome but I'm here to complain so may as well step out and enjoy the total briskness.
GG....sweet dreams.

YEAH, Enjoyful - Bawstan is bettah for having you there....BE WELL, HEAL, and then enjoy your "Southern" stay...so glad you made it. We are still SO snowed in, it's lovely.
HEAL, HEAL, HEAL - all sorts of good sorts being sent to you.
Blue = those birds are enchanting. Be warm, and as painfree as possible. Have you tried weed?

What Sunny said! (((E)))

It's snowing here (though just stopped or barely snowing at the moment). First snow I've seen since November. We had some sprinkles in December, I think. While I wouldn't call this a dumper, it's enough to get us an inch, maybe, except the forecast is for precip through the weekend, so I suspect you all will get your normal winter weather back too.
I've been told FB is used amongst this group, so not sure what's going on. There are just things spoken of here that appear to be general knowledge that have never been discussed on this thread. I guess it's a good way to make me think I'm going crazy. I'm sure you all have no interest in that, though.
-
-
You're not crazy Kam, even though I'm not certain what exactly you are referring to. Are you on FB?
-
I second that....and I'm at a total loss since I pay so little attention to Face Book. I talk to my son there....if you could call it that. We generally are talking about his bikes ( not too good a subject for me ) and not much else. Sigh....

Hi, Kam - I'm not on FB, but know many of the posters are. I think the references I usually don't get, and really don't wanna get, are related to another website - which Blue keeps promising not to waste her time reading. BTW, I never did vote for kitty, but friend just got a tiny baby siamese kitten, with the most gorgeous blue eyes I've ever seen in a living creature, don't think she could weight more than a pound - 6 weeks old - true heaven.
Here's a gem from our Vain thread - several of us where asked to "leave" a certain thread cuz we were havin' too much fun, so SelenaWolf started this one, and it's a winnah- here's a sample

I have had such fun. ER until 4 am, radiology mapping today. Starting coughing yesterday when I sat up from a nap and couldn't stop, then my back started hurting....something was really wrong and I've felt fairly good lately though a bit unreasonably fatigued.
So damn they found a new mass compressing my spine at T11, more liver involvement. Treatment plans in the making and I am really fearful my onc will want to go for the evil chemos now.
Dammit, dammit, dammit.

Sun -- now it is starting to make sense. I have been there a few times. Hard to read....it is the same song and too delusional for my tastes.
Did see the T. Party is going to take a new line.....that of can't trust the President to enforce laws. Really !!! They seem to forget....you have to pass some first. They don't seem to understand.....they just keep shoving their do nothing plan ( use almost any delusional reason ) out there as though it couldn't possibly create anything negative toward their party. I wish them luck, but at this rate they will need a world full of it.
Jackie
Sun....loved the link.....too, too funny.
-
Chickadee....sorry to hear that. I'm sending vibes that they can find a handle that won't have to be too harsh. Hugs to you.

Chicky, so sorry. Hoping for the magic bullet that kicks C to the curb and leaves you unscathed. (((HUGS)))
-
Oh Chickadee.

Hi Friends,
I am so wiped out .. this job is really hard and the pay is still WAY BELOW minimum wage. Tim is bugging me to quit. I just can't ... it took so long for me to even find this job, I just hate to give up now. We need the money really badly, even if it is just a little bit .. it's more than we had before I started.
For whatever reason I've only had a half day where I had a dictator I could understand ... and on that day I got over 800 lines done. It continues to be a monumental waste of resources having me spend hours upon hours trying to figure out what these stupid doctors are saying. I am quite sure they don't talk in real life the way they dictate. I'm at the point now that I wish I still had the crazy doc that peed while dictating ... at least I was making good money.
At a loss as to what the conversation about FB is all about ... but I know that Kam is not crazy!
Chickadee ... I am so sorry to hear your news. It sucks. And it makes me very upset and angry. I'd like to just punch the damn wall. Is there anything we can do to help?
hugs,
Bren -
Bren, at least you're getting experienced with new software to add to your resume, maybe? And it's SOME money?
-
Oh Chickadee - hope the treatment kicks the sh***t out of the little buggers and isn't too hard on you. Sending hugs, S.
-
Chickadee - sending hugs, and all good wishes for what ever it is the Good Docs give you that's gonna knock the crap out of what ever isn't supposed to be there. But, damn, it is SO HARD for you to have to deal with this - you've been strong, think it's time for a Big Rant, BIGG ONE.
AS evil as some of the big guns are, damn, they do seem to work. Just so shitty you have to have them. I look at your stats, and my mind says "how can 1cm do so much damage" - don't answer, there's no answer - thinking that you're in the best medical hands and they WILL find something to knock the sh-t out of those little phucquers!
-
Chick, sorry to hear the latest. Sending good thoughts and vibes for tx that kicks butt and is friendly toward you.
-
Oh, Chicky - I am so sorry and angry on your behalf to hear your news. I sure hope the docs can find something to crush those evil ba$tards and obliterate them completely.
Hugs and love to you, Chick-friend!

-
Enjoyful ... you're exactly right! That's why I'm sticking with it. I think of it as training for something else down the road. I'm not going to give up!
hugs,
Bren
-
chickadee i am sorry. I hope your next tx iis not as bad as you dread. Let us know, we care
-
Chickadee - I'm so sorry you have to deal with this as well as E. I would be such a coward in your shoes. I hope they find something that does not cause too many, or any SEs. Just sucks.
-
Chickadee - so sorry to hear the news. But you're going to kick butt. In the meantime, sending hugs and good thoughts.
-
chickadee, so sorry to hear your news. Crap!! I've been on chemo for about 4 years now and have done pretty well. Seems I have to change every 6 months or so due to SE's or progression but everything is stable now and my quality of life is pretty damn good, all things considered. Pm me if there's any specific chemo you have questions about and I'll tell you what I can if it's one I've been on. We WILL kick this cancer to the curb!!
-
(((((((((((((((((((((Chickadee))))))))))))))))))))) so sorry to hear your news - I hate fing bc!!
E - hope the trial does something to help you.
Bren - you could start looking for something else while you keep on with this job, you never know what might happen.
-
(((((((((((Chick)))))))))))
My comments weren't directed to any specific comment, but to idjuts in genera! I have kept my promise Sunny! I may read but don't really comment.
-
Chickadee all I can offer is: don't forget to breathe. Slowly, in and out.
-
thank you ladies. The odd thing is I feel pretty normal again today. RO called and interviewed me and hopes to get me started on 15 rads sessions Monday.
Sometimes I don't understand this cancer stuff. But feeling not sick, I'll take. Feeling a bit anxious comes withe the territory, right Glenna.
