Jenny: YAY !!
Hugzzzz - Shelly

So happy for you, Jennyboog! we had the same thing. but what i want to know is: Why? My b.s. said when you have so many lymph nodes out, the others have a hard time taking up the slack. But they did schedule me for nuclear imaging bone scan, head to toe, the first i've had since pre- surgury. cause of bone pain, altho that has resolved greatly since stopping tamoxifen 6 weeks ago. i get two more weeks off of it, and then we will see what they will do. my onc seemed unconcerned about me stopping for so long, so that's a relief. Will you ask your onc why nodes would be inflamed? just curious for other answers. Thanks, and GOOD FOR US! Kathe

Oh Jenny...I understand you wanting to see final report before celebrating, but it looks hopeful and for that I too am thankful! Glad you're feeling better today!
-
Kathec, I will ask I see her tomorrow for the path report, my understanding is a lot is from rads too. Every scan I get since tx shows some kind of inflammation most of the time in the left lung/chest area. This has been the worst so far and the only one that a biopsy has been needed. I will ask her but she was pretty sure this was a reoccurrence too.

sounds very good. Still sending all my good thoughts and wishes for the onc meeting tomorrow.

jenny and kathy,
Been waiting and routing for good news for you both, and sounds like that's the cas. HURRAY!!!! I do understand your reserve though Jenny, I would feel the same. Till I get it in writing I'll still be concerned, but the fact that the Dr said it looked like nothing is GREAT news!
Love,
Sharon

-
Jenny,
So happy for you!! Don't post much, but yours were the first posts I read on Stage III forum, as we were diagnosed within months. So glad we are all still "stuck" with you!
Holeinone, a granuloma is a type of inflammatory response, identified by activated histiocytes. Can see them in different clinical situations, infections, foreign bodies, etc. Hope that helps.
Cindy (stage IIIa)
