Triple Negative and metastasis liver

Hello

My mother has just been diagnosed with Triple Negative and metastasis (malign) liver. We were completely chocked and unbelieve, not fair,... I want to ask you if somebody here has had same experience and what kind of treatments have been proposed, what has been done ... All information is welcome as for us this is completely unexpected, unrealistic, unknown... My father just died 2 months ago so we are going through a very hard period now.

Just a little bit more information. They said it is an agressive tumor (grade 3) and my mother needs to start with chemo now (treatment FEC)

Vivola, I'm sorry to hear about your mom's diagnosis and your dad's death. I think you may get more answers if you also ask your question in the forum for family members and caregivers of members with stage IV. I wish your mom a successful treatment.

I am so sorry to hear this, my heart goes out to you and your mother.

Is this her first diagnosis? Or has it just metasticised?
