Pet scan tomorrow...

dreading the results, but dreading drinking the redi-cat even more!!  YUCK.  Should I refrigerate it?

    I didn't have anything to drink the night before my PET - I had an II've injection before it and had to sit in a room for a while.

    Interesting, my beverage was provided about 30 minutes before the scan. Two different locations provided two different drinks, one cold and one room temp.  The cold one was more tolerable to stomach and easier to swallow. Sat 30 minutes in a quiet room then on to the machine.  It was fairly easy and they gave me a nice warm blanket to cover up with making me feel cozy and comfortable.  Good luck tomorrow.

    They gave me two bottles... drank half of the first one about an hour ago.  have to drink the rest when I get there tomorrow.  Then sit for 45-70 minutes and get an iv....  told me to dress warmly with no metal.  lettings and a cozy shirt.  I'm taking a xanax and hope to sleep....

    this last (almost) month has SUCKED.
