I have my PET scan scheduled for Thursday of this week and am wondering what to expect.... Preparation wise & afterward?

    I there, I had a Pet/CT and had to follow a no carb diet for 2 or 3 days before hand and was told not to excercise. Make sure you ask about that as a restriction for you. The time before your exam you sit in a quiet dark room for about 20 mins , then they bring you in the Exam room  give you contrast at some point and have the CT/Pet. Its very easy.
