    I have flown several times with a fiber foob.  At the security check, I've told them what I'm wearing and go through the body scanner and have had a pat down.  I now have a silicon foob and wonder if I should carry on the foob or wear it?  I'm travelling in a few days and would love to hear others experiences with the TSA and how they have handled the foob situation at the security check.

    I never had a problem, it was the same experience...went through the scanner and had a pat down.

    No problems here, just scanned, pat down and hands swabbed. The person doing it is usually more embarrassed that I was. :)

    Since they started using the millimeter wave scanners (and phased out the ones using x-rays, which I refused to go through), I've gone through the scanners a number of times (wearing foam foobs) and have never even been patted down--well once, but that was because of some decoration on my jean pockets!
