So , she had another surgery  with then radiation. Its almost one month ago she done with her radiation. Now  , she feel very tightness in her chest. She has pain in her chest , and her right side ribs and back . Is that normal? Do I have to talk with her oncologist or radialogist. Any information will be helpfull.

    God bless

Zohra, entirely normal to still feel pain, for sure, you can talk to her doctors, maybe they can give her medicine for it. i found out today that vitamin b6 is a good one to help the nerves that were cut, to heal. Neurologist told me that today! and i had a much more simple surgury, almost 2 years ago, so they have been trying to help me find out why! blessings upon you for being a good daughter, and being there for her, and glad you found this wonderful place! full of knowledgeable women.

The combination of surgery which includes at least the removal of the fascia of the pectoral muscle followed by radiation to the same area leaves a lot of tightness.  Going on two years later, it's still there for me.  The radiated side is very different than the non-radiated side.  I have to be cognizant of stretching it frequently.  I should do it daily but don't.
