Clear scans 2 months ago now they want more

I am sure it is just precautionary. The problem with the chest X-Ray is that it is not very good imaging for the lungs. I had a chest X-ray pre surgery and it was clear. Then a month later I had a ct scan and it showed a lung nodule that was not on the X-ray. Of course I freaked but a further ct scan 6 months later showed it to be a granuloma ( a benign scar). I think your dr is just trying to be extra careful.

I am sure it will be. My dr is so convinced that the nodule is benign that I don't have to have any more for a year. 

Crazy benign things always seem to pop up on scans.
