how about drinking?

Just finishing up my greyhound. out of vodka.. could you send some over. need one more as this one was really weak.
Cramping from period. Still waiting for mine. Don't know where it went. It's overdue. -
-
vodka and grapefruit juice. I use diet pink to reduce the calories. It's refreshing.
-
-
Hey Shel- I remember when I was young we would mix Knox gelatin in juice or water and drink it. It would strenthen our nails and make them grow. Do you think that would help yours?
-
?????
-
-
So tick him off some more.
-
OH!!! I'm slow.... Sorry.
-
lol.........it might if i still had the buggers.......they're finally growing back but they are uuuuugly! i think i'll try the knox......sure as hell can't hurt (and maybe it'll straighten my hair out lololol)
and yes lini.......we did that as teenagers lmao.......cause we wanted "movie star nails"........now i'll just take old lady done with chemo nails lol! -
You know I kept hearing from someone who did chemo, don't do chemo if you don't have to. I just didn't really understand how miserable it is. I have mixed feelings of only having the boobs lopped off, but geez you've really been through it all and have still managed to hang on to your sense of humor and help others. You're are a strong chic, man. Your daughter is really lucky to have as an example of a strong woman.
-
thanks lini.......chemo for me was "do or die" (like many many others here).........the short term side effects are one thing, but the long term "glam" side effects are a whole nother thing.........waaaaaay harder than active treatment.......like a punch in the gut after the fact......oh well i'm still here crying the blues so i geuss i'll shut up lol!
-
Really weird how you can be mutilated and feel guilty for only having to go through that. What's up with that?? We women are strange folk.
It's pretty amazing that they can take away all our outward signs of being a woman (boobs, nails, hair) but we can still get it on... Do what we got a do and keep on truckin'
Geez, where are all these sayings coming from. Only had a partial drink tonigh. I'm so retro tonight. -
Sorry, Ladies, had to change the 'title' back. Aren't we done with pity parties by now? Oh, sure, that doll is pitiful (and scary!) but can we get back to the subject at hand? Otherwise I just might have to hang out elsewhere. I thought this was for high-risk women who liked to drink (like me!)?
Janis L
(who doesn't like change)
And Lini, what exactly did you mean by the "power of her womanhood?" I know/have the power of the "P" but I had to learn about it for myself! -
Thanks for changing it back. I'm not pitying, just being weird. I actually hate the word pity. It's so pitiful. Okay, done.
Whatcha drinkin'? I ran out of vodka (not whining, just stating a fact). Maybe I'll finish off the last glass of wine that I left in the bottle last night.
Never take away my P. That'd do me in. -
Whine tonight! (and cheese or course!) Do I go into how I worked until 2:30 this morning and then was at work by noon today?
Luckily my period wasn't bad this time. I'm always hot, though (no hot flashes just always hot), and think that perhaps now that I'm 'back to normal' in this area that I'm going to go through a natural menopause very soon. Just my guess, I'll keep y'all posted!
Haven't seen my young man in some time as he's changing positions and has been working a lot and some crazy hours. He's one of those guys who can only focus on one thing at a time (oh - wait! That's most guys!) so I've been lefy by the wayside but I hope to get laid very soon! In the mean time it's onward and upward.
Shel, I have two toenails that just refuse to grow back. Luckily no one really pays much attention to my feet. -
That's cause you have all those cute little curves, Janis, so why would anybody look at your feet?
-
-
Oh, is that it? I thought it was my wonderful personality!
-
Okay, now 'the BC lady' is sans sunglasses! WTF? Are we being messed with? Did I miss something? Is she slowly shedding everything?
-
She's pretty ugly, huh? Pitiful looking.
-

While you are up and about, Janis. Let's call a spade a spade. Do you have a probl;em with me? Curious.
Debi
HUH????????? -
-
I was thinking that perhaps the powers that be believe that without 'stuff' (sunglasses, hat, whatever) she represents more of us. You know, the BC experience. Gawd - that probably offends someone!
-
Debi, I have no idea what you're alluding to. Please clarify.
-
No offense! She is just transitioning. Before we, here in the US realize, she will be wearing earmuffs and sporting a long scarf about her neck to ward off the winter winds...
this round is on me--drink up, ladies!!! -
-
LOL! 100+ degrees here for days; probably will need to float a loan to pay next elec bill! To me, the visual of our gal shedding shades and hat, and knowing that she will soon change again, tells me that weather relief is at hand--I will not be wearing straw hat here in another couple of months.....hugggsssss
-
Oh you girls are killing me. Went to my local water hole for a couple hours and came back to find 50+ new replies.
It is hot every where. Let's have a drink and talk about it. I hope there are no hard feelings, here amongst all places.
Love to you all. ((((((bcorg.drinkers)))))))) -
