Thinking Out Loud.....

Fire.....I am so proud......she has come a long way, may never be complete, but her Mom, and the therapists at Children's Hospital in Philly are continuing to make strides........
In the family there is so much love for that little girl....she is our "Hero"...........
Her Mom is one amazing lady too.....she gets credit for all the loving care she gives her, and the time she spends doing her therapy at home......they are both fighters....plus she has the other twin sister to contend with also, and a new baby on the way......one great girl....
Thanks again Fire...you were with her from the beginning, along with your little Greyson, the spitter.....LOL.......still think its funny...........Did he learn that from you ????????????
-
ducky,,,that spitter just looks in my face and spits
He even spit at the dr,lol
She said this too shall pass
Me I tried spitting back, nuthin, tapping him on the lips when he spits, nuthin,,,
Just maybe if and when he does stop spitting we can introduce them.
-
Lol..........she is a piece of work too......laugh when I leave I say......ok, Head Bumper, want to give G.G. a kiss goodbye........her answer "NO".........I say, fine, I didn't want your old kisses anyway.....she laughs........
-
ducky...God Bless Grayson...she is a beautiful strong little girl ♥
-
Thanks Sheila.....good to see you back here we miss you.
She is a sweetheart, and has worked so hard to get where she is.....it was hard, many tears, and much pushing to do things she could not do, but she has come a long way............we don't know if she will ever get around like her sister, but we will take it a day at a time.
Sad thing is, if she is not in her Gait Walker she has to be put on the floor, and she crawls around on her belly.........breaks my heart, and I find it difficult to watch, but she can only be in the walker for so long, cause it tires her out, but crawling on her belly kills me..... when I see it, I want to get a sign, and walk outside this freak Doctor's office telling her story...........he will be taken care of.....my son has very good lawyers in his company.....this guy has not seen the 1/2 of our wrath........he will pay dearly for her care for the rest of her life........so far insurance has been wonderful, but we all know how that can go.....thanks again, and don't be a stranger....hugs
-
Ducky - your little Grayson is adorable. Sweet voice, great timing. Her legs may not be perfect, but she is a rockstar!
-
Thanks so much Rain..........yes she is my little Rockstar...........hopefully one day she will be able to run next to her twin sister........it is sad.........mentally she is so intelligent, physically no.........and to think all the OB had to do was a cesarian section on the second baby coming feet first......instead he decided to pull her out, and tore her spinal cord...........
The saddest thing is when she is not in her walker, she has to crawl on the floor on her belly, cause she can't get up on her knees, because of a weak "core mid section"..........maybe one day.......she has an amazing mother (also an identical twin), and a super medical team from Children's Hospital in Philly, Shriners, and Children's Hospital in Boston............
Thanks again......hope your doing well.......hugs......
-
Oh Ducky! She is awesome!!!! Maybe just maybe she has been born into a decade where real strides are being made in mobility. Hugs and prayers for this feisty girl and her family who will always be there to hold her in every way - if she will let them! So, it's good to have a Kracker and a Quacker here...just a reminder, FK, you'll have to toss a little further for the fire -- that's a thread somewhere near here...but no matter, we'll send a group tossfor all things BC!
And Ducky, now that the weather's nicer, be even more careful going out in those PJs...the world is now run by drones with telephoto cams. We never know!
(((TOL))) -

Joan OMG, funny, and your right........imagine me being the opening story on the late news.......
Warmed up some here, now they are talking 1-3 inches of rain on Saturday.......damn, does it ever end, better then snow, but now everything will flood......the rivers are all frozen, and you know they are going to thaw.
Tomorrow freezing rain..........ugh.........
-
It felt warmer today but I nearly flipped on the sidewalk at CVS. I went to tell the manager to put salt out there...invisible ice...and another woman was complaining about the parking lot being a sheet of ice. Manager said he used all his salt and the parking lot is not his....he would call someone. I told him to go to 7-11 next door and get some salt. Glad I didn't land hard.
(((TOL))) hellooooooooooooooooooo
-
Wow Joan...........hope your ok.........it was horrible here too.........so many accidents.....my daughter said she walked out about noon to get into her car, thought it was all over, and her drive was bad......slipped, but young, and managed to grab hold of the car door handle...........safe....
another guy on the news did the same thing, only his door handle broke, snapped right off, and down he went........took a ride in the Emergency vehicle for a banged up head.......really bad.
-

Well in the middle of the night Grayson was wide awake talking to someone, and all she kept saying was "HEY LITTE GUY .....HEY LITTE GUY.......Kira ...said it creeped her out.....she said "I hope it wasn't a Wooden Creature.......My son said "well just tell her it is Mickey and Minnie.........told my grandaughter......If that wooden creature did not have a "red and white polka dot dress, huge ears, and patent leather shoes.......she won't believe it.......she is too smart for that.......we still don't know who "Little Guy was.........lol

That video I saw on FB...I have bread and I don't need milk,so I'm good to go
-
Just watched that video again - in Seattle, where there is not a lot of snow and practically no snow removal equipment, the level of drama that takes place at the mention of a snowflake possible is unbelievable. They go on immediate STORMWATCH on all channels before there is any snow, the stores get slammed and everybody races home and then NOTHING or perhaps a spit of snow. Then they start warning about BLACK ICE - a term I never, ever heard when living in MA or ME. It is actually hysterical. I'm only afraid of the others on the road, not the snow. Being such an international community, there are thousands of people who have never experienced any snow and their looks of terror are amusing. Some years back, we did actually have a major snowstorm and I was the only one who would drive. I went to the school three times and brought home every kid in the neighborhood because their parents couldn't get home. So I am alone with 16 kids of all ages, cooking dinner. The smoke alarm goes off . The poor fire department comes and it is determined that I NEED TO CLEAN MY OVEN. I get the paper the next day which lists fire calls where it is noted that the RFD 'advised MRS. C to clean her oven". My dad was a fireman, so I saved him the clipping
Okay, a "what would you do" question. Far too often, I go to a frozen yogurt place to get dessert for us at night. They know me there, when I walk in they tell me that it's a good night for me because they have pomegranate tonight! Last night, I was paying with a 20 and the change woud have been about 7 dollars but the young man tells me that the register is not working and he is not sure what to do. I told him to put it in the tip jar for all to share since I come in so often. As I'm leaving, I realize I forgot spoons and turn around to see him putting the money in his pocket. Do I talk with him? Or his boss? I don't mean just the tip, I mean the 20.
Miss you all and our thread...
-
Rain...........him.........ask for the money back..................this kid needs a lesson.......hate to see someone lose their job, so give him an alternative.........wow, that takes guts to do something like that...........makes you wonder how many other times he did it.............you will teach him a lesson in honesty.........
Funnny how people react to snow isn't it.........we got killed here, 14 inches 2 days ago, and more tonight 2 inches this time, and more on Sunday............right now it is below freezing, so what we have is not going anywhere....
Feel like I'm back in Yakima, Wa., where we got plenty of snow........lol
Have not heard from you for a while.........hope your doing well........hugs.
