Oh, Michele, that really sucks! I f&cking hate cancer, too!! You did everything right in dealing with this. Geez, how does this f'ing disease change its spots like that??? I wish I could give you a gigantic hug!!! We are with you all the way.

Boo on the shakes and sore throat.  Yeah on no throwing up!!!!!  We will have to have a meeting with Wilbur.  He can't keep letting us down like this.  Get some rest.  Glad the pain is not to bad.  Maybe tomorrow when you are feeling better you can take a peek at your results.  Keep checking in.

Michelle- so sorry for the news. I appreciate your outlook with the DIEP saving your life. I had a similar experience with this cancer that if it hadn't had happened things could have been so much worse. Hugs to you.

My niece had her stereotactic biopsy on Tuesday and it is benign. It has been a hard week. I am thrilled for her. She is looking for a top notch breast specialist in the Joliet, Naperville area of Illinois. Anybody know of anyone?

Michelle, I'm so sorry.  What a slam in the gut.  Again.  But you're right, your decision to have the DIEP might have saved your life.  Good for you...

Every time I get intubated I wake up thinking they used a garden hose and forgot to unscrew the big brass fitting before shoving it down my gullet.  I'll let you contemplate that visual.

We're happy to hear from you, happy this is in your rear-view mirror, and happy you made it through the pre-op "shivers." 

Michelle.....add me to the growing list of one who hates this focking cancer.......so, so sorry for your news, but very happy that it was found in the tissue REMOVED from your body, and that you had clean margins......in your pockets as you gear up to fight the Bitch again.......

I know I have missed commenting on so much.....still feeling sick.....just cannot shake this chest congestion......just know I read every day.

Pocket hopping! Prayers for all ...Nihahi....I swear we are related....I get to rockin' and rollin' around the bed with shivers after surgery, too. The only time I can recall that not happening was after my flap because I was in the hot air gown. 

So sorry you had such a bad time coming out of it

curly.....have you in my thoughts and prayers. It is a good thing that you made the choice to have the prophy and they got it with clear margins...there are no words to describe the crappiness of more chemo, and TN pathology. Sending hugs.

Actually, not much, goldie. Every muscle in my body hurts, from the muscle spasms, I guess. We won't discuss what my throat still feels like. I am not feeling very "up" tonight. .

Except, the whole reason for this misery doesn't feel bad at all! Hips don't hurt...breast is uncomfortable but just a bit "stingy", not real pain. From what I can see, the "tweaks" on the breast flap are a big success!!!!
