Though it's a little weird to me that a husband would want to document and publicly show his wife's demise, those are some powerful images. Images that breast cancer foundations and charities should use instead of their stupid pink ribbon campaigns and a bunch of pretty girls with scarves on their heads. Maybe that was the point, and if so, I hope they get into the right hands to really make a difference. They definately brought tears to my eyes.

First to 'document' the beating of the cancer.  Then when beating it isn't possible, to capture her love, beauty, toughness, serenity, *EVERYTHING*.  Then as a way of venting anger and grief.  The public part is a way of making sense of what happened.

OMG this made me cry - I'm crying - this is hard. I kind of wish I didn't look at this link but at the same time - it inspired me!

I am a photographer, and breast cancer survivor. I have seen these photo's before and have followed "Their" story for over a year.  He has done something very powerful and wonderful by shooting these photos. Believe me when I tell you looking through the lens at someone you love, going through so much, while capturing the moments of beauty goes beyond words on a page.  He is an artist, and a wonderful life partner.
