Alternating tests?

Had my 6 month recheck yesterday after an ADH dx in July. (Had black bloody discharge/breast excision and 6x5 cm lumpectomy) . I have my annual mammo in April 2014. I had an MRI that reported "proteinaceous debris" l(in which the ADH was Probably hiding, the BS thinks) June. Mammo, u/s, and galactogram all showed nothing...No evidence of ADH . My BS wants to do another screening MRI this June. I have extremely dense breasts, am 51 yrs old. I mentioned that I now have the same discharge from the excised breast but from another duct now. Anyone here have alternating tests run? My mammo on Monday for the recheck of course showed nothing...they can "never see in there due to highly dense breast tissue"...they always say. "Looks fine"...lol

    I do alternating mammos and MRIs every 6 months  with breast exams on the opposite 6 months. (Took a while to get that all coordinated). If you are having another MRI in June anyway, why not cancel the mammo in April and reschedule it for next Dec? then your tests would be evenly spaced out, instead of just 2 months apart, then 10 months apart. Just a thought....

    Thanks, Anne. I thought about that last night. I may call and suggest it. It definitely makes more sense!
