after 3rd chemo I have excruciating hemorroids

Any easy fixes? I've done all the home remedies and an er trip to no avail they keep getting worse even on a fiber diet.

    Miralax, I really needed it daily during chemo, MO said you can take it twice a day, once a day should be enough but good to know that you can double up .....

    What we found what helped my mom during that time in her life was using Vit-E, with the 4 tocopherols (D-alpha, d-beta, d-delta, and d-gamma.)  We used it as a   suppository, even works on bleeding hemorroids, stops itchin, and swelling.  If you have not tried this, you should try it out!

    Hi diagnosed, that is rough - with all of the things that cancer treatment bring, we certainly don't need hemorrhoids on top of it. There is a long thread on constipation which has a number of suggestions, but you might want to try stool softeners 2 to 3 times a day (every day) along with Metamucil. Try not to ever force a stool out - don't push. If you can get constipation under control, then maybe the hemorroids will follow.
