Hi moonflwr.
-
Ninety nine point .
Nose was running all day long.
Think it's just a cold?
Got myself some zinc.
Sucking it down and hoping
That it works real fast!
LOL. Sure hope that's all it is.
-
You beat this darn cold,
Take zinc and vitamin C,
Echinacea too.
Hope you feel better soon, moonflwr.
-
warmer weather here
subtle hint that spring hides near
hide n seek; you're it!
------------------------------
Mid 40s today
But I slept the day away
Body needs more rest
-----------------
I really did sleep the day away. I can't believe some days how tired I am! I have 3 medications that I'm on for various maladies that cause fatigue. I'm afraid people will think I'm lazy. I need to get over that!
-
I'm so fatigued too
Spent the whole day in pj's
But I'm not lazy!
I totally get it mouse. I can't believe how tired I always am now. And if you are taking meds that cause fatigue as well, then it's no wonder your tired. It's easier for me when I just think how happy I am that those who think I'm not pulling my weight, aren't going though what we are.
They don't understand because, thank god, they don't have to.
-
How is it lazy
To be so tired eyes close
whenever you sit?
_______
Those who are judging
Should hope they never feel this.
Ask if they would switch?
_________
I hope sleep felt good.
Your body knows what it needs.
We understand. Hugs...
-
I am sorry you are in the midst of the fatigue. I didn't know how bad I was til I finally crawled out the other side. Hang in there. Much love.
-
I like these Haiku
Never one for poetry
I wonder why not?
-
Red.
I just find it easiest to write in poetry. Usually rhyme. But Haiku are just fun for me.
Poetry is fun.
Measured syllables are too.
Together - Haiku!
_______
I write poetry.
It sets my mind and heart free.
Form helps make beauty.
-
Oh, I love that last one. Makes me feel good!
Things float in my head
Not always the nicest, but
My friends support me
-
Floating thoughts should go.
It's not always an option.
Write and send them on!
-
My friend wants to die
She wrote me a long letter
Don't want her to go.
-
Oh what a burden
To want her to stay with you
When she wants freedom
-
Prolific poets
Waterfall of emotions
Misty hugs all 'round!
-
long letters to say goodbye
sad heart with a wish to fly
longing thoughts for you to stay
but best to let you fly away
-
amazing restful
sleepy long naps; pleasant dreams
ready to live now
--------------------
My heart is sad for those that are sad. We handle deep emotions on a daily basis; sometimes changing by the hour (I speak for myself only). I'm glad we are a compassionate bunch!

Cold, white night outside
Minus 35 in the morn
Poor trees are freezing
-
Freezing my ass off
is not the best diet plan.
Will it help The Pack?
(For those of you not from WI or not into football, that's the Green Bay Packers. They are playing San Fran this Sunday at Lambeau Field, supposed to be like minus 50 wind chills brrr crazy cold.)
-
Schools are closed Monday
Too dangerous for the kids
Cuddle up inside.
______
Packers game -Sunday
The Packers practiced outside
Packers fans insane!
-
Too cold for football,
Too cold for walking outside
Think I'll stay inside
-
The polar vortex
comes in on little cat feet
like Carl Sandburg's fog.
-
House is warm but dry.
Static electricity
did my hair today.
-
Fog
The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.Carl Sandburg
-
That poem was my inspiration. Here's an interesting tidbit from wiki:
"Fog"is a poem by Carl Sandburg. It
first appeared in Sandburg's first mainstream collection of poems,Chicago Poems, published in 1916.Sandburg has described the genesis of the poem. At a time when
he was carrying a book of Japanese "Hokus", he went to interview a
juvenile court judge, and he had cut through Grant Park and saw the fog over
Chicago harbor. He had certainly seen many fogs before, but this time he had to
wait forty minutes for the judge, and he only had a piece of newsprint handy,
so he decided to create an "American Hoku".So my haiku was inspired by his poem, inspired by haiku!
