    Ahahaha Janis. You made me laugh. Yep, Im in that phase too. And I wasnt as smart as some of you, I was on the boards this week-end. Oh I was a nasty person - now Im bowing my head down in shame lol.

    i don't think you were nasty nicki........maybe that won't mean much coming from me lol!..........and janis, you're way ahead of me if you can accept the belly thing.......it has me very down.........i keep trying to cover up my hurt with humour but thats not working so well anymore.......i geuss without the lightheartedness around here maybe we're being forced to address our hurts..............or maybe i sniffed too much windex at the carwash............either way, i think its finally starting to get to me........everyone wondered why i kept up such a good front.........i think i'm gonna do a board break too, and see if i feel any better.......sure miss tthe sockpuppets though!

    I year ya! I figure if the fat wants to sit on my belly there's nothing I can do about it. It's not my stomach muscles it's fat! Ack!

    Take a break if you have to. My onc said that sometimes this stuff hits us right after we're done with tx and sometimes it comes later. Me, I've got money stress (like who doesn't?) and that always gets me down so I haven't had anything nice to say so I haven't said much lately. I have other things on my mind, too. I read and keep up, though. Take care!

    Okay, so is it in the air, or what? My DH, (come on Shel, I need a nickname for him), has been bugging me to get a "real" job. As if I don't feel guilty enough about not contributing to the pot right now. So who's going to hire me right now? I'm looking at surgery w/in the next month or two. Excuse me but I'll need to take a week off so I can start my new boob growth. Then all the appts. that follow. Any body hiring out there? Just paid two college tuitions and $350 for soccer camp. The kids are killing us.
    Then he feels guilty, which makes me feel even more guilty, 'cause I know all the stress of making money is on him. Hurry September so I can sub and shut him up.

    Is Nacho related to Sancho??

    and the boob thing well...........mine are gonna look pretty good when they're done, but they are so much smaller now and i didn't have much to begin with..........i'm so jealous of the girls that got bigger and better, but i can't have them because they took all my skin and soft tissue d/t concern for possible pajets as well as idc.......oh well!

    Jack handy ok.........if you need an expalnation pm me......but i don't think you will!

    Years ago my daughter thought his real nickname was asshole. Okay, I'm really slow, Jack handy?? explain then I'll decide. He's actually a really good guy, so don't want to be too mean. Even though AH still fits sometimes.

    Oh girls- I missed so much here. Logged on tonight and had 39 new posts on this thread. Wish I was hanging with you all, but had a good time w/ all y girlfriends at a fundraiser.
    I think we are all at the same place and a lil time away would not be bad. I was so busy all weekend, but missed you all like crazy, Please don't stay gone long, maybe a day or two at a time.
    I also thought of this thread when they mentioned "sub-committees"
    P.S. Thanks for the bday wishes. I am meeting an old frind for bkfs and need some sleep after this weeknd-

    Christine - Happy belated birthday! You were celebrating your "Birthday Eve" the night before. Nothing wrong with that.

    Janis - I totally relate to the belly fat thing. I have never had a flat tummy, but now, I swear I look pregnant sometimes. I have probably $1,000 worth of clothes I bought last summer (being newly single after a 20-yr marriage) and can't wear anything. Hell, I'm still paying for some of them and never even wore them! How depressing is that??? I try not to get too down about it - but I'm vain, so that parts hard for me.

    shel - glad you found your kitty. I'd be pissed too if I'd been in a hot shed! I'm sweating right now as I speak in my air conditioned office. When DON'T I sweat these days? I miss estrogen!

    I've read that alcohol is a major contributor to the belly fat thing....but do you think I've cut down? Hell no!

    Okay - guess I turned this post into a rant, huh?

    Stay cool sistas however you can do it in this heat. I am sure I'll need a cool adult beverage after work....

    The other day my "Richard" fell off of a ladder while trimming the hedge. My initial reaction was his work, our health insurance and my boob job. He wasn't hurt, just sore. I guess I've been pretty focused on one thing, me, lately. Time to get unselfish again. Really have never put "me" first, ever, so no one around here is used to it. I never actually ever forgot about their needs, but mine have come first lately.

    Vain? Sometimes I think I am but then sometimes I don't think I am! I've always had what most people call "a nice body" so you'd better believe it when I say I've capitalized on it! But when things are beyond your control, well, I do believe that complaining is allowed!

    And I've already given up my estrogen to Tamoxifen so there's NO WAY I'm going to give up my alcohol!

    p.s. I'm making a concerted effort to eat less now. I've only gained two pounds (hey, I'm a small person) but as I stated before (somewhere?) everything has shifted and all of my pants are too tight!

    Original jelly belly here. I remember when I was in my 20's. I was so thin. I would look at my mother and think "she is just so fat. why doesnt she do something about it." I now stand and look in the mirror. With my short hair and my belly - I'M MY MOTHER omg!!

    Now slipping 2nd glass of wine. And believe me, tonight, theres gonna be more.

    janice you nailed it..........its a shift.......i used to look pretty decent in a bikini too.......not this summer! and its ALL around my middle......so discouraging, i don't eat much as a rule except special occaisons, but then i don't (have never)exercise either.

    and now i find out no nipples for me either so today is sucking large!

    i sure in hell am not giving up my cocktails now!

    I'm missing my boobs a lot today. Phantom stuff, itches, pains.. What the heck is going on with every one?? I still haven't started my period.. Maybe we're all on the same cycle. This whole thing does suck.

    Well, I got MY period! And, yes, I'm happy about it!

    As for my two pounds, it 'looks' like more since it's shifted! So shoot me because I'm a small person! I eat 'right' and take care of myself and those two pounds being attached to my belly and butt are bothersome. See? This is why I didn't want to 'complain' before because it sounds ridiculous but it's not as it's not my fault!

    And, Shel, do tell about the nipple thing. I'm sorry if you can't get them, or is it that you just can't get them right now?
