Lots of misplaced threads

I'm noticing lately that a lot of women with breast cancer have been posting in the "Not Diagnosed" section of the board.  It might be someone with a history of breast cancer who is worried about a recurrence or the development of mets, who is posting in the "Not Diagnosed but Worried" forum.  Or it might be someone who's recently been diagnosed and is waiting for pathology or staging test results who posts in the "Waiting for Test Results" forum.

I always have to reset my mind when I read those posts because in those forums I expect to only find posts from women who have questions related to the screening and diagnostic process for those not yet diagnosed. The issues and tests for women with breast cancer obviously are quite different, and the way that I would respond to someone who already has been diagnosed is different from how I might respond to someone who has not been diagnosed.  I also worry that these posts won't get the attention that they deserve because only a limited number of diagnosed women frequent the "Not Diagnosed" forums.  Lastly, I know that many of the 'not diagnosed' women who come here and who read those forums are very worried and I'm not sure that reading threads about the possible development of mets (as an example) is something that is going to help ease their minds.

Whenever a new post is started in what is obviously the wrong forum, the "Information and resources for new patients, and new members" forum, for example, the Mods are quick to move it.  Can the same be done with these other types of misplaced posts?

    Mods, thank you!

Maybe the headings of the "Not Diagnosed but Concerned" and "Tests, Treatments & Side Effects" sections and the forums within those sections can be reworded so that it's clearer that the first section of the board is for women who have not had breast cancer, and the second section is for women who are dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis.  I've seen a number of women who've had surgical biopsies post in the Surgery forum; they are having surgery so logically I understand why they are posting there.  The problem is that most of the women replying in that forum assume that anyone posting there has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  So often the advice they give refers to tests (an SNB, for example) and/or results (HER2 status) that are completely irrelevant to someone who's having an excisional biospy.  In these types of situations you have people trying to support someone but offering advice that isn't relevant to the situation - this isn't a good use of time for the people responding, and it's not helpful and sometimes can be confusing for the person who posted with her questions.
