Almost 1 week on Tamoxifen- terrible headaches!

Did anyone get terrible headaches while on Tamoxifen? I normally get a bad headache about 3 days prior to my period starting, due to hormone changes (just found out it is a drop in estrogen). Will my body get used to lower estrogen & the headaches go away? I've taken T 5 times and have woken up in the morning 3 days with an unbearable headache.

mouse9587, headaches can definitely be a side effect of tamoxifen. This question came up at one of the Breastcancer.org Ask-The-Expert conferences, and the answer could be helpful to you. Here's the link to it:

I had an almost continuous headache for about a month, but few other side effects. After the first month my body apparently adjusted and I have had no problems since (have been taking Tamoxifen for almost 3 1/2 years).

mouse - I had a headache the first week, then it went away. The longer I'm on T, the fewer and fewer SE I have. I was having vivid dreams, but those are fading away too.

been taking it a week and I've had a terrible headache every day, all day, I'm trying to get through the next couple weeks hoping it'll go away with time. I've always gotten hormone headaches tho, so I'm afraid this will be my new normal.

Which brand or manufacturer are you guys using for your tamox? Could be the fillers......
