Possible reoccurence one year later
I went for an ultrasound today because my left breast, the one I had cancer in has been tender. Thought it was a routine ultrasound but radiologist saw a spot he was concerned about. Had a mammogram & now have to have a biopsy. Today is Wednesday & I have to wait until Monday for the biopsy. I'm terrified of course & really don't know what to think. I do not have a lump, just this spot he saw. Said it could be scar tissue or not. Anyone have any advice?

Sunflower, good luck! It's impossible to know what the spot is, but I can say that a lot of women who've come through this board have had similar scares and it's turned out to be scar tissue. Hopefully that's what it is for you. (((Hugs!!))) -
Good news! It was scar tissue. It's been a week of hell but let me tell you, this is the best Christmas present ever! Thank goodness! Thanks Beesie for the hug!
