Anyone from London Ontario
Hello all,
Just had a biopsy this morning (birads 4b) at St. Joseph's Health Centre in London Ontario. Does anyone know if the samples are processed here in london or toronto. A friend told me that it goes to Toronto which i find hard to believe since London has such top notch medical facilities.
Just hoping it's done here which should be a quickier turn around time.

Hello foreveryours Sorry you have to be here but it is a great site with lots of support from all the ladies. I just live about 45 mins. away in a small town. I also had my biopsies, wires mammo,s ect done at St. Joes. I really appreciated the care I received there and all the staff were not only kind but took there time and were very thorough. They also answered any questions I had . I thought the samples were initially processed, there but I could be wrong. I hope you are feeling as comfortable as possible and rest as much as you can which I realize is hard to do at this time of year, but right now you come first. So hugs to you keep us posted on how things are going for you. I also come up to London on a regular basis to L.H S C also if you ever need to talk just P.M me take care hon

Ro-berta thanks for your kind words and support. The waiting is the worst part of this journey......at least up until now. All signs are pointing towards fibroadenoma but i will truly relax once I get the results. The breast clinic is closed for 2 weeks during the holidays so if I don't get the results this friday and will have to hold my breath for 2 weeks.....grrrrrr.

Foreveryours, Yes the waiting is the hard part. I am in the "waiting room" myself once again. Thank goodness it,s Christmas and it helps keep the mind in a good place and busy! So I say good luck to the both of us! It will be nice to exhale when the time comes. Here,s hoping you get the results on Friday and can go back to breathing again. Hugs and take care Let me know if you like on how you made out tomorrow.

hello there ladies. I too am doing drs apts scans treatments in London. I got all of my results from St. Joes or from LHCS. I am starting my treatments on tues 11th. I am also 45 min away in a small town west of London. I am actually getting anxious to get it started and stroking off the days for them to be done. Love this option to having to do treatments in one of the best hospitals in southern ontario

had my first treatment and I must say it wasn't as bad as I expected. My next treatment is next week. I am hoping to return to work before the end of March. I work in a retirement setting. So the work load is not bad. I am looking forward to having this all behind me. Life goes on !!
