Back pain, from radiation?

Options

I've been having back pain that the drs  seem to think is from the radiation.  Just  wondering if any one else experienced this.  Scared of mets.

I have been having back pain from radiation as well and it scares the heck out of me!  Sometimes it's better, sometimes worse.  Feels like muscle spasms between my shoulder blades. I've had a massage and muscle relaxers and I'm getting frustrated!  I'm 2 weeks out from rads.

yes I  know the feeling of being scared. I  also have  scoliosis, but this pain is different than before.  but none  of my doctors seem concerned.   in  fact,  I'm  getting my port out  next week.

did any of your doctor's say this could  be from the radiation?  my doctors don't really offer any explanation.

Apparently I have a mild scoliosis as well but I have never had pain this intense for this long. I'm going to my MO on Monday.

After chemo and rads I have more pain in back area.  This area had had osteo arthritis for MANY years but basically never any pain that bothered me.  My PA ordered a new bone scan to be sure that it was just my arthritis getting worse - it was.

Osteoporosis is also something to ask about especially depending on your age and family HX.

My back pain has eased but it's not gone. MO says Taxol & radiation side effects ... I don't know. Glad yours was arthritis Kicks.
