Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
118.7 lbs, exactly the same as last Wednesday, which is good, since I'm just trying to maintain now. -
Down 1.
Would love to lose 2 more by Christmas. -
Yay for losers. Hehehe. -
Annie, I think it's likely harder to maintain although I wouldn't know for sure as I'm still a 'loser'. -
Up .5 to 131And I have a doc appt on the 30th where we will again discuss my aversion to exercise. Maybe I'll go use the exercise bike in the basement so it won't be a complete zero.
-
Up to my all time high of 140. GRRRR. I hate menopause......
-
Come over to the 'Lets Post Our Daily Exercise' thread and we will pump you up!
-
Marple, I agree completely. I've had to become a "loser" all over again too many times in my life! I want to make this the last time! -
Yeah to the "losers"!!!
Try not to get discouraged if you haven't! There is always tomorrow -
hi all and congrats to all the "losers" LOL. I'm not among your ranks. Though I could ramp it up, I do exercise so it's my diet. Been indulging in seasonal treats over the holidays and will not make the Christmas challenge. But I'm not giving up! Going to FL for vacation and will eat well and walk daily so I'm pushing my goal to New Year's instead. See you in 2014. ♥
-
Have fun in Florida, badger!
With all the dancing I did last night, I'm down another 100 grams. I need to lose another 500 by Christmas!
-
118.5 lbs, down 0.2 from last Wednesday.
-
147.0 down .4 from last week.
-
Up 100 grams. Just taking a breather.
-
Well, I've hit bottom on unhealthy eating, especially sweets. I think i am really addicted to sugar. Gained back 6 of the 20 pounds I lost...
Yesterday started a sugar detox. Started back exercising. My goal is to lose 1 pound by Christmas.
Congratulations to all who have lost weight during the holidays.
This time last year I was laying on the couch trying not to puke from chemo. Can't remember anything else about Christmas! So, I'm happy now, despite the weight gain!
Hugs,
Peggy

Ruth posted a picture and saying two pages ago. "Take a deep breath and start again". Wise words for the holidays when it's so easy to fall off the wagon.
-
down .4.....how about we weigh next TUESDAY morning......something tells me that next Wednesday will NOT be a good time to step on a scale!
And compared to feeling rotten and hardly being able to keep food down at all, trying to find away not to eat too much of it is a pretty good problem to have!
Merry Christmas to US!
-
Ruth, I'm with you. I'll weigh in on Tuesday next week too.
-
See you Tues. But if I'm lighter on Wed. I'll weigh in then too.
-
Stayed the same at 131. Really want to get back in the 120's.
-
Goodness, I'm only aiming for 140. How tall are you ladies? I'm thinking I may have to be more of a 'loser'.
-
Marple, 5'2" and shrinking. Started out at 5'4". Problem is that I weigh in the morning and my doc appt is in the afternoon.
-
Stayed the same. But work party and choir cookie fest, so I'll call it a win.
Hoping to see the 30's by my late January birthday. (I'm 5'6". Lol.)
-
Thanks for sharing. Btw, I'm 5'7", shrank an inch in height with menopause but gained in width. Blech.
-
Marple, I'm 5'2." At my heaviest I was once 150 lbs. Trying to maintain at/or under 120 now, but my WW lifetime goal weight was 126.
-
I really appreciate the stats and thank you again for sharing.
-
I'm close to the same as last week. Too many parties and eating festivities . One day of eating extra seems to always equal three days of dieting. How fair is that? I may have to fast a few days if I want to lose any more by the New Year but I still have hope. 13 days left in the year, it could still happen but just not this week!
-
I did hit my "ten before Christmas" goal and have stayed there, miraculously for me, but since I am still at 145 (my pre-chemo "I want to lose 10-15 pounds" weight) I do want to lose another ten in the new year.
So- Happy Holidays for now, I sure hope we can all at least maintain through all of these holiday temptations, and maybe have a new challenge on January 1. Ten before.....Easter???
Hugs
-
Congrats, Sciencegal!
I am not stepping on the scale until next year. Happy Holidays, everyone!
-
I will step on the scale Tuesday AM, but will be up because I have been making Christmas cookies.....which of course involves sampling the dough, licking the spoon, & eating any cookies with burnt edges or whose arms (snowmen) or horns (reindeer) have fallen off in the transfer from the cookie sheet.....
