My breast cancer has moved to my lung. I am devastated. I was not even cancer free for 4 months. My concerns are why didn't it work the first time, I hadn't even finished my last herceptin when I was diagnosed. I'm scared

I am so sorry. Quickly go over to the stage 4 forum, the ladies there will be able to give you lots of help and good advice.

Bmalady, we're sorry that you've had to join Breastcancer.org, but glad that you've found this supportive community. Here's the link to the Stage IV forum ruthbru suggests. The members there have great experience with the decisions you're considering.

I am so sorry to hear that. Of course you are scared. The women at the stage forum are wonderful, and I know that one thing that they will tell you is that many of them having been living with a stage IV diagnosis for many years. I would try to offer more support, but I know that they are truly the best to help. I do send, many, many hugs and hope to talk to you more on these boards in the coming days, weeks, months, and years.

Bless your heart; of course you are scared. Good suggestion by ruth. This forum is so helpful. You can vent and ask any questions you have here. It was my lifeline then and even now. I learned more here than I ever learned from pamphlets, etc. Not saying you shouldn't do your homework but all of us in our various stages know about that fear factor. Keep the faith. We are praying for you. Diane
