My symptoms are changing.....
I have posted before about having black nipple discharge on occasion pure bloody discharge from one duct ( one breast). Anyways, now I am having extreme itching and a prickly sensation inside the outer part of my right breast and also on the skin. My nipple is very sensitive and itching and flaking come and go. I actually have a reddish mole looking growth with uneven boarders and it seems to be growing since last month. I feel the prickly and itchy sensation around this area. I still have the nipple discharge but I have noticed that it its more watery and the color is changing slightly. I also found a new lump too, so I called the doctor and told her my new findings (she said she felt as though this would happen) and now I am being sent to a dermatologist to see if I have Pagets disease I will be having a skin biopsy tomorrow and I have to go back for another mammo. next week sometime in between my HUGE nursing exit exam on Monday that I have to pass it or I cant graduate next Thursday Dec 12! I could scream........and I still have a bad feeling...maybe even more. Anyways...thanks in advance for advice etc.

Mindy - Take a deep breath. Just put one foot in front of the other. It sounds like the medical end of things is cruising along so see if concentrating on your exams can help take your mind off the stress of the breast changes. Sometime it is good to have something else to do. Hopefully by Dec 12 you'll have a nursing degree AND a b9!I'm not saying this is you AT ALL, but my daughter got her BSN in May. During and after her degree program she was pretty sure she had most of the diseases she'd learned about.
Hugs to you!

Why did you delete post? -
I actually got your post in my email......It is actually funny that you said that about having every disease we learned about! I did that for a while...I am not going to lie!! Sometimes its scary to know so much....but rest assured it has helped me too. I am or should I say I have to focus on this graduation...I have come way too far to mess up now. You know...I just had to let it all out. I read your profile and I am at high risk too...so far all my tests were clear but I have these new symptoms as well as the others. I am waiting on my insurance to approve a mast/recon. I met the criteria since my father has breast cancer....and all the others in my family too. But anyways...I saw that you had a prop. mast....did you go through insurance? -
Mindy - I felt like I didn't really have enough knowledge to comment on your type of symptoms, though I did have bloody discharge for over two years. It WAS several papilloma, around 2mm each. Good luck with the studying. Best wishes for b9 results! -
Its fine...don't worry I enjoyed reading it. thank you for the wishes! -
Yep - I did the genetic counseling first. 50 percent risk. Insurance approved PBM with no trouble. Yeah, the fact that your dad had BC can be a big deal. I had male BC 4 generations back in the gene pool - even that got the attention of the GC. The PBM was tough for me, but I felt I had no other choice.
