Jack Frost window pane
Such a pretty idea,
Way over rated! -
Little girls sleeping
Nana's off duty today
Tomorrow, who knows
-
Enjoy while you can
Children grow up way too fast
You will miss these times.... -
Babes went home early
No waking to tiny smiles
Will call them instead!
-
lovely Red!
Temp is 23,
Walk is shoveled and salted.
Cuddle up and read. -
I like it! I wrote one a couple of weeks ago, while recuperating from my bc surgery.
Haiku about my ice pack. Yep. You read that right.
Throbbing swollen skin
Wonderful cold pack numbness
Human iceberg rests -
lol mouse. Welcome!
I should be cleaning
Instead I'm reading this thread
Gotta get moving! -
Tonight's the last night
So I'm grieving and mourning
So very not me.
-
Whether you are happy
Or whether you're very sad
You are you and loved. -
Turkey's not cooking
Potato not yet peeled.
Watching Packers play -
No results today
I must wait until monday
Crossing my fingers
-
in response to RedReading:
waiting stinks the most
garbage in the can of life
get a new trash bag -
My trash bag is full
Monday is garbage day tho
Put it on the curb!
-
I should stay away
Family cries like rainstorm
I am a downer
Sorry. It's been hard at Thanksgiving family gatherings. I have another tomorrow. Maybe I'll play sick. I'm fine but others get very emotional. -
Families can be fun
Most of the time not so much
Deep breath, get through it! -
for red:
Garbage on the curb
Watch it go far far away
Clean is all that's left! -
You gals make me smile
Life is more than make believe
Sometimes hard and rough
-Good night! -
We are here for you
During tough times and good ones
Families mean well
Keep smiling mouse. And they need to see you sometimes. Makes them feel better even if it makes you sad. Maybe go and make a deal - 10 minutes for the sad stuff, then nothing but happy?
-
House all to myself
Hubby went shopping for me
Blessed be quiet
Namaste moonflower
-
Shop. Shop til you drop.
Gotta get more stuff for gifts.
Long, long list awaits. -
ok. Here is another seasonal poem!
CHRISTMAS CHEER
Christmas comes but once a year.
Lots of joy and lots of cheer.
Food's great, the company's too;
It's just that there's so much to do!
Haul out the wreaths and lights
Colors shine right through the night.
Buy the presents trim the tree;
Hope a presents there for me!
Wrapping paper piled so high,
Only one more gift to buy.
When it seems to never end,
There's always just one more to send.
Suddenly before you know it,
Budget's tossed and you just blow it.
Bank account is just a wreck,
That's ok and what the heck!
Christmas is just once a year;
That's ENOUGH of all that CHEER!!!! -
Found a coat for Reg
And a skooter for Abby
Now what for Aly?
(Aly's only 3 and has everything. Tough kid to buy for. Lol)
-
red, books are always good. And the ones with soft squishies animals are fun for that age. My kids had angeljna, rainbow fish plus a whole bunch of others. Only bad part was the number of times you had to read the same books! LOL. As in" Too cold to go out, too wet to play ball, so we sat in the house, we did nothing at all. Then thump! How that bump made us jump!" Etc.... P'S my baby just turned 27.... -
Lol thanks moonflwr, but I think we need to move it up a tad. The 3year old already reads, and operates a computer. Kids now are not like when I had mine. My baby is 33 next week. And Aly is one of his, Abby is is his older girl - he's Reg. That was an entire haiku about him and his girls. I'll have to tell him. Lol
-
no, red! Your too young to be granny! LOL. But really even if they use computers they need to be read to and to have those tactile experiences. So for Aly at 3 yes a squishy toy and book. And my "baby" is 28. But I'm still waiting for grandies!!!! -
I have to rethink
Will it really be worth it
To remove my port?
____________
Had another one
Another mag infusion
Still may need that port
_____________
I want to be done
To put it all behind me
So OUT COMES THE PORT!!!! -
Think you should do it?
To remove your port is big.
Did you ask your doc?
And I have 11 grandkids and 2 greats. 5 kids - all of them breed like rabbits. Lol
-
Red he told me a year ago to have it out when I'm ready. I just worry about lymphedema. I don't want it. And 7 ops on left side even if it was only 2 nodes on that side. I go back and forth on that decision.
Well its here again.
My next cancerversary.
On December 9th.
__________
That makes it two years.
Infusions and other stuff
But, I AM STILL HERE!!!! -
My heart weeps for you
So many operations
Beat this thing soonest
-
Monica, this one's for you. 3TTCx3! ♥
Squishies for Christmas
That's all I want please Santa
My front teeth are fine!
