luv the hair looks great. I went to a gastro doctor and he confirmed my thoughts to wait and see about gallstones since I have no symptoms. -
Wishing all my BC sisters a very happy, healthy, peaceful and fulfilling Thanksgiving - EAT ALL YOU WANT!!!!!

Happy wishes to all. Finally got my port removed 3 weeks ago. THANKSGIVING for sure. -
Hi I just found this site recently and have been scrolling through topics. I start rads on Jan. 20 and am apprehensive. I don't know anyone else that's had it before so it's a little scary.
-
it was a breeze after chemo. I lived 5 minutes from office so got 700 am appt. and then went to work. I used aloe force 2 times daily for first 3 weeks and then 3 times daily after that. I found it on amazon. Not greasy or messy. the worst part was a little pink skin and minimal peeling around nipple mostly. Also I got really exhausted which they don't really tell you about. I ended up with pneumonia from not resting enough. Good luck. It will soon be behind you.

Thanks schoolmom, I just hope I don't get a bad skin reaction. Three weeks post lumpectomy and I have a red rash that's spreading and horrible itching spreading out from my incision (calling the doctor tomorrow). So I don't know how my skin is going to react to rads. Hopefully not like this. Feels like I have an army of chiggers that took up residence in my tshirts! I'm sorry to hear that you got pneumonia, but glad that you mentioned it. I'm really bad at sleeping enough, and eating well. So thanks for the heads up on that, and the aloe force suggestion. Looks like I'm going to have to change some of my bad habits.

hi girls, how are all my BC sisters out there? We haven't chatted in a while and I want to know how everyone is doing. Today, august 31, is my 2 year cancerversary and I am so happy to be here to chat with you. How scared we all were 2 years ago, look how far we've come, hope everyone is doing as well as I am. Oh I have my issues but it's with the arimidex, awful joint pain, weight gain, jiggly buttt, bitchy outbursts, loss of energy, blah blah blah.... well at least I blame it all on the meds. Now it's the last weekend of summer already and I hear its Going to be a really cold winter so enjoy this weather while you can. Hope your all doing well, chat soon, love ya girls

Happy anniversary to you as well. It is two years this month for me. I understand about those meds. I am on my third one trying to find one that doesn't make feel 10 years older or give me ovarian cysts. Anyway, I am here. Best wishes to all and continued prayers.
