there are lots of money for me-too drugs. But real breakthroughs like herceptin and palbociclib are few and far in between. That these 2 comes from the same lab over a decade, should tell us something is seriously wrong in metastatic breast cancer drug research that actually goes for the CURE.

I'm encouraged though by the more spotlight on the plight of metastatic breast cancer patients. I hope more emphasis and funding will go to them and less to the various beat-around-the-bush "solutions" to the breast cancer problem.
