Worriedsick4her, this community has many, many members who are at Stage IV and enjoy long, active family and work lives. What treatment/s are being proposed?

If you are already at a 5 year rate which is at 16-20 percent. How much more life expectancy if any will you get with treatment. And are you even guaranteed 5 years? It says 16-20 percent. What am I expecting?

i am just 3c but wanted to tell you if you love your life then of course it is worth going through treatment. i do hope this helps you until some stage 4 members show up with answers for you. yes, it is all scary, but it is doable, and your doctors are there for you, as are the women here too. they will be here soon for you. it is scary, it does take time, we dont have to like it, but we pretty much choose to do it, anyway. good luck to you sweetie, and i am sure someone will be round to help you soon. where else is it besides youre breast or do they know yet? there is good information on the just diagnosed column, under the jump to a forum to the left of your page. remember to breath. now that you are diagnosed, now you can be treated. some women can say it better, but other women have done this, you can too. sorry you are here, but bco will become your true friend in the days to come.

I don't know what questions the OP had as all posts are now deleted, however I would recommend reading the extenisive Stage IV Boards in hopes of finding the answer to your questions.
