how about drinking?

oh yeah and how about a "purple jesus party"
garbage pail lined with trash bags
every geust brings a mickey of gin and a can of grape juice
i must admit i had a few purple mustached hangovers when i was a kid1
the thought of it now turns my stomach!
sonja......squirt is hard to find here, try a little italian grocer specialty shop. i've never seen it at sobeys, but i have found it at zher's in the summer. -
Anyone remember Little Kings and Mickey Big Mouthes? I wonder if they still even make that stuff.
Oh! And how about Mad Dog 20/20?
Donna -
Mickey Big Mouths are still around, my 21 yr old daughter knows about that one.
Never did a Mad Dog or a purple jesus party. Was Michael Jackson there?
I must be way older than you girls. -
whats a mickey big mouth?........sounds like something someone might call me lol!
-
Ah, a new nickname..
It's a beer with a wide mouth opening to drink it from. -
A BEER I DON'T KNOW ABOUT?????? i must be getting old lol!
-
It's actually a malt liquor. I looked it up to be sure.
http://www.mickeys.com/index.php -
cute website........but this just proves i've got too much time on my hands lol
-
yea, I was also playing around in there too. Don't want to continue the dusting, vacuuming, etc.
-
Purple Jesus/Purple Passion===prob. same thing, except we used grape juice and grain alcohol stolen from the medical school labs at UT-Memphis. And we mixed ours in the bath tub (HONEST).
Lived in tall apt. buildings that were very new and close to the med ctr and different med/dental/nsg colleges, plus a few more. I've often wondered how their supply dept kept up with all the lost grain alcohol!!!!
Now that stuff would truly knock you to your knees and have you worship the porceline (sp) god. Whew!
PS I haven't bought any Pimms, my daughter has a couple bottles she has bartered with a friend. She's here for a couple more days and I hope she'll let me try one before I search out Pimms , If I like it. -
My friends father has an old paint can mixer. He fills up a paint can with a ton of sliced up lemons and pours in vodka. He shakes and shakes, pours it over ice. Yummy lemonade.
Boy we are a savory group, huh. Paint cans, trash cans, bathtubs... What's next? -
lets "class it up a bit"...........tonight i'll try champagne out of one of captain fantastics shoes lololol!
-
You just continue to crack me up!! Champagne gives me a headache. Let's see.... I think I'll try sneaking a water bottle full of vodka and pink grapefruit juice to soccer camp when I pick my kid up this evening. I'm sure all those parentals will wonder why I'm so happy. I really don't have the nerve to do that. Wish that I did, but don't. Need my job teaching some of those kiddies...

lini i pm'd you.......estoy contento......comprende?
-
holy hell girls........for some reason my hair seemed to grow overnight............and now that i kinda styled it because it started sticking up..............ITS CURLY!!!!!! i'd have sworn it was still straight when i went to bed last night!
i usually wear my hair short and ultra spikey, now what am i gonna do?????? i hate to admit it, but i used to be pretty vain about my hair because i always got compliments on the style and i'm a styling aid invalid.......oh man i'm gonna look like a poodle lol! -
It must have been the ice cream. Have another beer, I'm sure that'll straighten things out.
-
for shel....
-
oh i'm cracking up peggy.......i gotta learn how to do that!
i think i will try a beer and see if it cures my "poodle blues" -
I'm thinking about curing my poodle blues with getting all cut really, really short, Then I can do the straight and spikey thing again. Shel, I was always curly, but this is like an old lady perm. No style at all. Let me know if the beer works.
-
Oh my God!!! Where have you ladies been all my life! I love to drink (boy, that sounded awful)!
DH and I were in St Kitts in 2004, right before dx. We were on a catamaran cruise to Nevis and they were serving us a drink called a "panty ripper". If you were still wearing panties, you got another drink! LOL. I can't tell you how trashed everyone was by the time we got back. We also went to a local lean-to type beach bar where they served a drink called a "bushmaster". It was a fruity drink made with 5 different rums and a local moonshine. DH and I had the runs the whoe time we were there from all the booze and fruit juice. Who needs Metamucil!!!??
I'd go back there in a heartbeat!
Cheers!

Welcome to the best thread here, Jan. Well, at least the one that's the most fun. Panty ripper and Bushmaster, well those two sound like they go together.
Anybody know where Janis has been? Haven't seen her around here for a few days. She's usually lurking about around this time of day. Hope everythings okay and you've been out having a good time.

christine........ the beer did not work, maybe i needed more then i'd have had "beer goggles" and would have felt better lol!
oh well i geuss i'll endure this transition too.........not like we haven't all endured worse right?
soooooooo "woof, woof".......i'll settle into the poodle/old lady "pink perm rod" phase of my life and be ever greatful for living (with "spirits").......my best to all.........and i too hope that janis is just too busy with her boytoy to post! g'night all........the expander turning event today in conjunction with the percs ensures i'll be out like a light really soon!.........cheers my ladies! -
Your expander turned again?? Were you out making a new rock garden again??

Wine. Drink some wine. My hair is straight except for about an inch on the ends. Talk about a styling nightmare! I was hoping for curl, got some wave but when my hair air dries it looks kinda goofy. So, no new pics from me for a while yet!

Awww, thanks for missing me! I've been trying to wean myself from this site as I spend way too much time here! I luv ya girls but I have to at least pretend I have a life, ya know?
Tonight a friend (old lover who wants to be a current lover but that's not what I want) came over and we had pizza (Lou Malnati's deep dish!) and watched a move. He's gone now so it's computer time!
Janis L -
There you are!! I knew you were lurking around here. I'm on my second glass, but my hair is straight, so it doesn't matter. For some reason white affects me more than red. Any scientific rationale for that??
-
Hey! I just notice how our BC lady is sans hat and flower! WTF?
-
Where you been all day?? Some of us see a hat, and some of us don't. It's been a strange day to say the least.
-
Go to the "Is it Me?" thread for more on the hat.
-
Well, I'm not drunk so I know I'm not seeing things. Weird.
