Could this be Ibc?

I am 28. 3 lumpectomys. Precancerous. Now I have a long raised lump beside my nipple. It hurts, itches, my whole breast itches deep, a little sticky fluid comes out, it's bigger than the other breast too. Could this be Ibc? It worries me. I am going to the doctor on Monday. Should I press for further testing? Should I try antibiotic treatment? My lymph node in my collar bone hurts if I touch it. Thanks so much for any advice

    Hi Samantha!


    There's no way anyone can say whether this is or isn't IBC. The one thing that is for sure, is that following up on Monday is absolutely the right thing to do!


    IBC is not a common thing. I imagine that you'll be put on Antibiotics first, IBC doesn't improve with medication.


    There have been many people come here with the same symptoms as you, who have discovered it is an infection. Do you have a temperature?


    Try not to dwell too much on cancer, it is highly unlikely. Take care and let us know how you get on.

    No temp. I just got off of antibiotic treatment last week for something unrelated. I'mm trying not to dwell but I have had so many scares. Just had another salivary gland removed 2 1/2 weeks ago with Precancerous cells. Same side as the affected breast.
