I was diagnosised with hr2 neu positive in May 2012. I went through chemo and radiation treatment and just finished last Herceptin in July. During the middle of chemo, I started having vertigo and doctors have not been able to find cause. Has anyone else had the same problem and if so have you been able to find a resolution. Going a year and it seems to be getting worse than better.

Hello SPROCTOR, and welcome to Breastcancer.org.

As well as the personal experiences you'll read from other members, the main Breastcancer.org site includes information about vertigo in the section called Dizziness. It does discuss some of the BC treatments that are known to cause dizziness, including chemotherapy and Herceptin, although that side effect generally goes away.

We hope you can find a solution!

What kind of chemo you are taking? I had that problem when I was taking taxotere. I had to take a scopolamine patch to help with the dizziness. The doctor's always act they never heard of anyone having this symptom to the chemo drugs they give. It really annoys me. NJ
