I'm having an MRI of my liver this Tuesday. Please pray, pray, pray!
Dear Lord, thank you for always blessing my appointments, medications, treatments, procedures, scans, X-rays, tests, blood work, MRI's, and results. I offer up to you all my worries, fears, and anxieties in asking you to continue blessing all these things, especially the MRI this Tuesday. Thank you for always guiding and blessing me, my family, and medical team. I place all of us and all these things in Your Hands. I pray for these things in the Mighty Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank You, Lord. You are One God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and all Glory, Honor, Victories, Power, and Praise are Yours, Forever and Ever. Amen.
Mary, Mother of God, my Mother, I consecrate myself and my family to your Immaculate Heart and ask that you intercede for me for my healing and blessed MRI this Tuesday. The Lord loves you and listens to you. Remember me, please, Blessed Mary, Ever-Virgin. In your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and these special graces of healing and a blessed MRI this Tuesday for which I've been imploring. Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers in my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. Amen. -
Amen!
Praying with you ,Penny! -
May God bless you and your family Penny, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen. -
Leaving hospital now. 2 little tumors and 1 bigger one. Not as good as June but still better than back in March and about the same as this time last year. Doc is going to consult with medical team and get back to me this week. Maybe another ablation. Thanks for all the prayers. I don't think remission or a cure is His Will for me right now. I still thank Him for all my Blessings. -
Penny, may God bless you always. I hope Karen is doing as well as possible too. Blessed be the name of the Lord. XXX -
Penny- Still praying with you!
I just wanted to share a website with you all. My brother-in-law (who is studying to become a deacon) shared this with me. -
Lovely Kslansky - I love that "never forget to finish a novena again" :-) . Another site that might be of interest to some folks - a friend recently introduced me to this Jesuit (Loyola Press) site. They prepare a daily "3 minute retreat" which you can dip into or have sent to you daily by email. -
Thanks for the link - I signed up to be notified of upcoming novenas.
A radiofrequency ablation of the three tumors in my liver will be done tomorrow @12:30. It'll probably take about an hour and then I stay in recovery for @ 6 hours before they send me home. I will keep you posted thereafter. Again I ask for prayers. I place my health, my family, my medical team, the procedure and its results in God's Hands. I consecrate them to Him and ask Him to bless them, for the praise and Glory of the Lord, in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Thank You God for today and for the gift of salvation through your son Jesus Christ. Thank you for all your advances in modern medicine. Thank you for all your miracles and cures. Thank you for all my family and friends, blessings and gifts. All Glory and Honor and Praise are yours. I love you.
Lord, I give today to you, everything in it and about it. I give you all of me, especially my health. I give you my husband and children, our needs and their health. I give you all things related to my illness - my appointments, medications, treatments, procedures, xrays, scans, MRI's, bloodwork, tests, and all results, especially today's Ablation and results. I consecrate all these things to you, put them in Your Hands, and ask you to bless them, for your Glory and Praise. They're yours.
Loving Father, I entrust myself, my family, and friends to your loving care this day, guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical team who will be doing Your Work with the Ablation today, Grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with You and with those around me.
Lord, grant me joyful accceptance of the Ablation which awaits me, and let this be the relief and cure which I seek. Make skilled the work of my medical team and the results blessed. I pray you, Lord, that this procedure be without complications and that my recovery will be speedy and complete.
Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to You. Allow your healing hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others. Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch my mind with Your wisdom, that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in my need, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which You have created, now and forever.
All these things I pray for the Glory, Honor, and Praise of Your Mighty Name, Lord and Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen. Into Your Hands I commend my body and soul. Amen.
Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself and my family to your Immaculate Heart. Please help me. Please pray the Lord hears my prayers for today. Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
St. Joseph, Guardian of the Word Incarnate, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son the prayers I seek today through Jesus Christ, our Lord, so that I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. -
Ablation took 2 and 1/2 hours. Ribs were in the way. Lots of pain. Will know if it worked or not in a week or two. Maybe re-start chemo next week. Will keep you posted.

Thanks for the update, Penny.
Your still in my prayers! -
God Bless you Penny so sorry you have had to have such ordeals. May His healing grace be showered on you. XXX -
I'm currently being screened for a "Phase II Trial of PD0332991 in Patients with Cancer". May God's Will be done, and I pray for the Grace to accept His Will for me. I'll keep you posted.

Even though my last MRI showed new tumor, my oncologist at UPenn wants me back on TDM1, especially since the new growth(s) were ablated. I find out how well the ablation worked on 11/13/13 with an MRI ordered by the IR, another top in his field. Before I went on TDM1 my liver had numerous lesions. My onc feels it's done a lot of good and since it gave me such good quality of life she wants me back on it with a sooner-than-normal scan. I'm also waiting for the results of the screening of the new tumors to see if I qualify for a new study. The new study uses a CDK inhibitor plus herceptin. Beyond that she says we have options, plus she's always been open to liver-directed therapies. In short, I trust her, she's always open to my questions, concerns, and (sometimes) debates LOL. However, we put our faith in God first so I'm continuing to ask for prayers for guidance - for me and my family, and for my medical team, caregivers, and health care providers. And I continue to pray for God's Blessings on all my appointments, medications, treatments, procedures, scans, X-rays, MRI's, blood work, tests, and all results.
And, of course, I pray daily for a cure. -
My friend Kathy just found out she has cancer in her lungs. They're saying stage 3b but that may change when the biopsy is done. They suspect it metastasized from somewhere else. Please keep her, her family, and medical team in your prayers. Thanks everyone. -
Penny, very sorry to hear of another comrade in arms, will certainly add her to my prayers. Susanna -
I don't get on here too often, but I'd like you know that I pray for you all daily. Could you please remember me in your prayers tomorrow, I'm having a bone scan, because of new pain in my back, to rule out mets. Thanks and God bless you all. -
Dear Linda,
March on. You are in our prayers. My dearest uncle recently shared with me this beautiful poem.
I would love to share with you and everyone. It has been very comforting to me the past weeks.
I read it repeatedly everyday.
Keep us posted.

It doesn't look like mets! Thanks be to God. -
That's great! Thank you for the update Linda.
This morning I had my 2nd TC, went well but unlike 1st tx, I was completely knocked down when I was home. Really really tired. So laid down all afternoon and it shocked my DH and mom a little bit. It shocked myself too. Though we were also prepared for this may happen. I prayed to God that I will listen to Him and rest. I trusted him to bring me strength and peace. Jen -
Jensf - for me each treatment was a little harder, except the last one seemed easier. Saying a Memorare for you. -
Linda, so happy to hear that you got good news. -
Thank You, Lord!

Dear St Jude,
Patron saint of impossible cases, please help our family. We are in dire need of assistance in many different ways. I am not articulate at all, but just need you to know that we are lost and desperate for direction. Please help guide us closer to God. I pray not for myself, but for my children and husband. -
Lynn1234- also sent off prayers for you & yours to St. Jude.
God bless you, Linda -
Dear Lynn,
sorry that you are dealing with so much. May you be always surrounded by HIS love. He said He came to call the desperate, the weary, the broken. You have good company - we, the broken, are the church. Prayers for you and your loved ones.
