    This is a good news story. Not all clinics (in Australia) offer the most advanced radiation treatment options yet so we choose from the available options. But the surgical and chemo treatments are world class. (I must ask my onc about the reasons that radiation onc is not as advanced.)

    I think I have read other articles on similar topics--that many women choose to have a more drastic treatment when less radical measures might have the same survival and recurrence statistics. There may even be some studies in progress trying to figure out why people make this decision.
