Best Breast Natreopaths / Centers in the United States ?

Hello -- My Mom is 90 years old and received a bad mamogram (5 cm mass, irregular shape). At this age, quality of life is important so chemo is out and surgery is scary at best.  Through various boards, websites, health food stores, etc. we have put together a regimen of curcumin, green tea, Ip6, essiac, green juices, milk thistle, mistletoe, etc. etc.  My head is spinning! I am familiar with alternative approach and practically live in Whole Foods. But I really need the help and guidance of a practitioner (MD or natreopath or herbalist or TCM dude etc.) who knows what they are doing ala the Suzanne Somers approach.  Any thoughts?  Please respond -- I am so worried that I am going to lead her down a path that will compromise the remaining years of someone who is otherwise very healthy. We are based in Georgia but will travel to get good treatment.

    You may want to consult with Lise Alschuler, who is a naturopath specializing in breast cancer. She is based in Scottsdale, AZ, but it's possible to have a consult with her by phone. I have done this and have found get to be highly knowledgeable and very responsive. Because I am out of state (NY), she cannot be my primary doctor, but I still find her very valuable when I have a question about various supplements or other questions that arise-- she always answers my emails within 24 hours.



    If I recall corrctly, the initial charge for the one hour phone consult is $450- she reviews all medical records (which you will have already sent in advance), discusses with you and makes recommendations. She then sends you a written report summarizing the discussion.
